First things first, thank you for such a delightful response on my previous post. I really loved all the plots you guys had shared. I read each one of them and they were equally very interesting. I will begin framing them into a story soon and present it to you.
Lastly, thank you once again🤍
Today's one-shot idea: chikoo_here_❤
In a bustling city where modern life never seemed to pause, Abhyudaya, an engineering student with a passion for innovation, often found himself drifting into strange dreams. Every night, the same hazy figure would appear, a silhouette of someone who felt incredibly familiar yet frustratingly elusive.
Across the city, Gautami, a literature major who spent her days immersed in the world of books, was experiencing similar dreams. Her nights were filled with visions of a man whose presence brought warmth and a sense of longing, yet his face remained indistinct, like a character in a novel whose description had been smudged.
One fateful afternoon, both Abhyudaya and Gautami happened to visit the city's largest bookstore. As they wandered through the aisles, lost in their thoughts, they collided at the corner of a shelf.
"Sorry!" Abhyudaya exclaimed, reaching out to steady her.
"It is okay," Gautami replied, her hand brushing against his as she regained her balance.
In that brief moment, time seemed to stand still. Their eyes locked and a jolt of recognition passed between them. The bookstore around them faded away as flashes of past lives flooded their minds.
Abhyudaya: Do I....know you?
Gautami: I....I do not think so. But you seem so familiar.
They both stood there, silent and bewildered, trying to grasp the fleeting images that danced in their minds.
Abhyudaya: I have been having these dreams....Dreams about someone who feels so close, yet I cannot see their face clearly.
Gautami: Me too. Every night. It is like we are connected somehow, but I do not understand how. I cannot see how we met or how are we connected to each other.
As the days passed, the dreams grew more vivid and the feeling of connection between them intensified. Despite their initial confusion, they found themselves drawn to each other, meeting frequently at the bookstore, coffee shops and parks, always talking and always searching for answers.
One evening, while sitting on a park bench, Gautami shared a particularly intense dream.
Gautami: Abhyudaya, I saw us....in another time. We were in a garden, surrounded by flowers. You were holding my hand and I felt so happy. Both of us were happy but then out of nowhere, like a short glance, everything went dark.
Abhyudaya: I had a somewhat similar dream too Gautami. We were together, but something tore us apart. Maybe that is why we keep seeing each other now. Maybe we are meant to find out what happened to the both of us back then.
Determined to uncover the truth, they began researching past lives and reincarnation, visiting libraries and consulting experts. The more they delved into it, the clearer their visions became. Yet, the faces in their dreams remained blurred, as if some unseen force was keeping them from fully remembering.
One stormy night, they decided to visit an old temple known for its mystical aura. As they stepped inside, the air around them seemed to hum with energy. They held each other's hands, walking to the center of the temple where an ancient idol stood.
Abhyudaya: Maybe this place can help us remember everything about us.
Gautami: Let us give it a shot and hopefully it works out well.
They closed their eyes, focusing on the memories that had been haunting them. The air crackled with electricity, and suddenly, they were enveloped in a bright light. Visions of their past life together surged forward, clearer than ever before.
They saw themselves as lovers in a time long gone, their love pure and strong. But fate had been cruel, tearing them apart before they could fully experience their lives together. The pain of separation had been so intense that it had carried over into their current lives, manifesting as the blurred dreams they had been experiencing.
As the visions faded, they opened their eyes and looked at one another with a gentle and warm smile, now being fully aware of their past.
Abhyudaya: Now I get it. Everything which has been happening all this while. We were always meant to be together Gautami. Our union was written by the Fates and even if we could not be together in our past life and our story remaining incomplete, we got another chance in life and ended up finding our ways back to each other again.
Gautami: Yes Abhyudaya and this time, we will not let anything separate us.
With the memories restored and their connection made stronger than ever, Abhyudaya and Gautami embraced each other, vowing to cherish the love that had spanned lifetimes.
In this life, they would not be separated. They would create new memories, cherishing every moment, knowing that their love had transcended time itself.
The end☺🌼
