Coming back to the present day wasn't all it was cracked up to be, of course it didn't help that she had to hold onto Lila while they traveled, and breaking Lila's fall when the three of them all landed. She couldn't hear much of anything after landing, a perk of semi-unsecured time travel.

Standing up with more improved hearing she looked to Five who seemed to be glaring at two of his brothers. "Hey, Chatty Cathy's, quit the chitchat, all right? I'm calling a family meeting here." Five looked to Lizzie as if to ask her to stay and listen, in a mean grandpa way.

"I think I'm gonna pass, last time I went to a family meeting for this family there were two timelines." She breathed out. "Also that time jump took a lot out of me." She said as she walked away.

Lizzie took a tour around the hotel, it was a incredibly creepy place, everyone was staring, and being sub-normal. It would have been jarring if she wasn't used to weird things happening around her.

She left the hotel, as she missed modern ice cream and needed something non-alcoholic in order to get through another apocalypse. At the register with seven quarts of ice cream was when she realized she did not bring any cash. "Oh crap."

"So how will you be paying today."

Before Lizzie could answer a Kugel-wave hit, taking out the ice cream store clerk and everyone in and around the store, besides her. "Well that was great timing!" She said to herself, as she then started packing as much ice cream as she could into plastic shopping bags, running back to the hotel with them. She took a room key from the floor, probably from somebody who was Kugel'd away. She put the ice cream away and went back down to the lobby.

She had wanted to give the majority of the Hargreeves' as she had picked up a little of what was happening from almost dead Five's weird Iron Lung fever dreams, she knew the family was going through a lot, but then again, when weren't they. Plus she didn't want to be forced to side against Viktor when the family wanted to give up Harlan up to the Sparrow Academy.

In the lobby at the bar Lizzie was nursing a water and the rest of her first quart of ice cream, only then noticing that Five, Klaus and Luther were there too. "Hey" Five greeted to someone, which caught Lizzie's attention. She turned to see Viktor, who also had turned to face where the sound had come from. "It's time.  Where's Harlan?"

     "He's gone." Viktor announced.

Luther looked angry, but not surprised, rhetorically asking, "You let him go, didn't you?"

"Harlan's death is not gonna stop the Kugelblitz.  It's just gonna be another tragedy on a tragedy, and we can find another... I will find another way." Viktor said determinedly.

And then Luther said something that made her remember why she disliked him, "Well, congratulations, Viktor. You managed to destroy everything. Again."

"I really thought you were smarter than that." Five said to his brother, who then stormed away. Lizzie glared at both an already retreating Luther and Five, then running after Viktor. It reminded her of when she chased him down after he angrily left the family meeting he wasn't invited to when the world was ending the first time.

"Viktor, hey!" Lizzie yelled as she caught up with him.

"Hi" Viktor replied sounding a bit exasperated, which was expected.

Lizzie smiled at him, "I would say its been a long time, but its only been a few days for you. Still so much has changed." Seeing a slightly worried look from Viktor, Lizzie spoke up again. "I'm happy to see you, and I'm proud that you had the strength to be yourself." She smiled again.

     "I wasn't sure if..."

"I'd hate at you?" Lizzie interrupted. The idea had made sense because Lizzie was from the 1940s, and he wasn't a hundred percent sure that she wouldn't hate him. "I may be apart of "The Greatest Generation" but just because I'm that old, doesn't mean I would hate you for being Trans." Lizzie sighed, "And I'm sorry if it seemed like I did because I was ignoring you... well actually I was ignoring almost everyone, but that was because I didn't want to get in the middle of all this Harlan drama."

"It's alright." Viktor told her, the two just standing in silence for a moment. "I was actually about to go meet up with Harlan, he's with Allison right now." He stared at the woman who was his greatest and only friend for the last decade of his life, realizing how highly he valued her, and her opinion he asked, "You know you can come with if you want."

Lizzie gave a smile, "Alright, but you're driving."
