I parked my bike outside Shehnaaz's college and waited for her to come out. I hadn't informed her about my arrival; it would be a surprise for her.

Today, I planned to spend some quality time with Shehnaaz. Automatically, a smile comes crossed my face thinking about her. She was too good to be true. I just wanted to protect her at any cost—from everyone, even from my dark side.

I still couldn't believe we were dating. She was my girlfriend. I was her boyfriend.

"Damn! This feeling is new, and amazing." I murmured. I had never had a girlfriend before. She would be my first and last.

Since we started dating exactly two weeks ago, we haven't been able to spend any alone time together. She had visited my house a few times to see Mom, but I wasn't there. We talked over the phone every night, but my new murder mystery case along with the drug case kept me super busy. My schedule was tight, so we couldn't meet at home or outside.

I knew she wouldn't say a word to me or demand my time because of her shy nature. But I was well aware of how a relationship works. Couples needed to spend time together, go on dates, and visit beautiful places. We hadn't done any of that. So, I took a half-day leave just to spend time with her. I was sure my expert team would manage half a day without me.

I checked the time on my wristwatch. It said 4:23 PM. Seven minutes to go until the end of her last class.

Veer had told me about their class schedule. Luckily, Shehnaaz and Tina were in the same subject and had classes at the same time and on the same days. This was a pure good luck.

"You are a lucky man, Sidharth," I murmured to myself, looking eagerly towards the college door.

I could see many people giving me judgmental looks, likely recalling my past aggressive behavior at their college. I just hoped they didn't bother Shehnaaz because of my impulsive actions. Nothing happened that day; we simply left the college. I hoped her principal didn't make a fuss over it. But if he had, Shehnaaz would have told me by now. I'm her boyfriend now.

Do you really think she will tell you? She's so shy in front of you now. She doesn't even talk sternly like before when you flirt.

"Oh God!" I quickly checked the time again. It was 4:25. "I still have five minutes."

I walked inside her college, ignoring everyone who gave me judgmental looks and whispered. I went straight to the principal's office and knocked on the door.

"May I come in, Sir?" I sought permission before entering.

The old man took a moment to recognize me, then nodded. "Please come in." I walked in, pulled out a chair, and sat opposite him as he gestured for me to sit.

"What can I do for you, Officer?" Despite my previous actions at his college, his voice was warm and respectful.

"Principal Luthra," I began, checking his name from his nameplate. "As you are already aware of my actions at your college with that guy."
