walking through the beacon hills' preserve as the sun has been awaken was a happy scott mccall and a very irritated addison argent, who slowly walked behind him.

"...you woke me six in the morning to take a stroll? do you want to die?" addison irritably looks at the mccall.

scott frowns his brows, him turning around to look at her, to see her already in front of him. "you won't kill me, addie." scott smiles.

addison sarcastically smiles. "oh, really? well, you can't stop me, 'cause i already planned what, when, where and how." her grinning devilishly.

"i know that you didn't need to convince your father and you did, and you helped and i'm grateful." scott says with a smile.

addison glumly responds. "sure, you're welcome or whatever."

"what's wrong with you? why are you not happy?" scott frowns.

addison sighs out loudly. "because! scott, i'm not like you, i can't even pick up a proper scent!"

"you caught the heart beat really well." scott says, trying to cheer her up.

addison shrugs. "it's basic."

"some new wolves have trouble with the hearing." scott states.

"do you need me to help you find someone? why are we here?" addison curiously asks.

"i get it why stiles was so with his head in the clouds when he first met you, how he easily fell for you and how he still can't get over you." scott states.

addison stares at him in surprise. "...he isn't?"

"well, um, something happened and i'm thinking my last statement might be false." scott shrugs, him then walking away.

addison blinks at him, her then quickly going after him. "scott! you can't just walk away after telling me something like that, what is it?"

scott stopped walking, him then turning towards her.

"i don't think i should..." scott trails off.

"scott!" addison groans out.

"he may have hooked up with heather." scott says, looking at her, as if awaiting on a reaction from her.

addison scrunched up her face in confusion. "who in the hell is heather?"

scott shrugs lightly at her, him then carefully looking at her. "but–––you didn't hear it from me."

addison tilts her head with a smile. "then, who did i hear it from?"

"you're not upset...?" scott frowns his brows.

"look, scott, i don't care, okay? he broke up with me, i just–––don't care." addison sighs out.

"you're lying to me." scott says.

addison scoffs, staring at him as if he had just said the most absurd thing ever. "what, no, no! i'm not!"

addison felt herself being pulling into scott for a hug, her softly breathing out as she felt him hugging her, her blinking in surprise.

"what are you doing?" addison frowns in confusion.

"comforting you." scott responds.

"why?" addison seemed confused.

"because, you're lying and hurting yourself over my best friend." scott answers.

addison frowns her brows as if she had figured something out. "...you smell like mango and fabric softener."
