Seungmin and his friend, Han, entered the restaurant together and were seated by the waitress. Seungmin admired the beach view, "Isn't it so nice to finally be here?"
Han agreed and smiled. They had come to the beach resort to take a break from everything that was messy. Both of them were 20 years old.
As Han looked at the menu, he jokingly asked Seungmin if he had found anyone attractive yet.
Seungmin rolled his eyes and then glanced at han before turning his attention to someone behind him. There was a man who caught his eye. Seungmin replied, "Actually, yeah, I just did."
Curious, han looked up and turned around to see who Seungmin was referring to. He noticed two stunning individuals waiting in line to be seated. One of them seemed to have noticed that they were being stared at and looked up from his phone. His gaze met han's and then shifted towards Seungmin, who was captivated by the man beside him. The man whispered something to his friend.
The males friend then looked in their direction. Han, realizing this, turned back to face Seungmin and leaned in closer to whisper, "Damn, I think they noticed us staring." Han closed his eyes in frustration.
At that moment, the waiter arrived at their table and asked if they would like to place an order. Both of them nodded and gave back the menus.
After they finished ordering, Seungmin glanced back to check if the males were still there, and they were walking behind a waiter towards their table. "Don't panic, I think they're going to sit behind us," Seungmin reassured.
Han gasped as he saw them being seated at the table behind them, with the man he had been staring at positioned where he could see him. "Um, let's just ignore them... even though it's going to be hard," han suggested.
Seungmin gulped, and both of them anxiously waited for their food to arrive.
They both received their food and started eating. However, han noticed that the guy was stealing glances at him. "Maybe we should talk to them?" Han suggested.
Seungmin was surprised and choked on his lemonade. "What? Are you crazy?!" He put his drink down.
"Well, it wouldn't hurt," Han said, gazing towards the beach view. Seungmin sighed and reluctantly agreed. "Not it," Seungmin smirked.
Han looked at Seungmin, confused. "What?"
"Not it!" Seungmin giggled. Han widened his eyes. "Seriously? I hate you," Han rolled his eyes.
"What should I say to them then?"
"I don't know, maybe tell the guy with the red hair that I find him cute," Han chuckled and got up from his seat, walking towards their table. Both guys looked up at him.
"Hi, I'm Han," he awkwardly smiled.
Both guys looked at each other and then back at him. "Im pretty sure you cuaght me and my friend staring at you guys," Han looked down, feeling his cheeks turn red with embarrassment.
"Yeah, we picked up on that," one of the guys said.
"Oh my gosh, this is so embarrassing, but..." Han looked at the red-haired male and said, "My friend thinks you're cute, and uh..." He then turned to the black-haired male feeling incredibly embarrassed. "U-uh, n-never mind," he gulped and quickly returned to his seat.
The guys looked at each other in confusion and then burst into laughter.
"They're pretty cute, you know?" the black-haired guy snickered.
"Yeah, they're adorable," the other guy agreed.
"That cute boy' friend finds you cute, Chan," the guy giggled. Chan rolled his eyes. "Well, that 'cute boy' was about to say something to you, but you scared him away."
"Must be the interrogator in me," he leaned back in his chair, smirking.
"That's not a good thing, leeknow," Chan sighed. "You scare people off instantly."
Leeknow scoffed. "And you? You're a police detective."
"My job is to solve crimes. What about that one time you traumatized someone because you scared the balls out of them?"
"That was back in my rookie days, man," He crossed his arms and pouted.
Chan smiled and cooed at leeknow. He had always had a soft spot for his colleague, especially since he was two years younger than him.
"Stop treating me like a baby, I'm 20 years old, damn it!" Leeknow protested.
Just then, the waiter interrupted by asking if they were ready to order. "Yes, we're ready to order. By the way, do you think we can have a table eith them?" Chan pointed to the table behind them.
The waiter raised an eyebrow. "I believe so. Let me prepare a table for you guys."
The waiter then approached the table behind them. "The people in front of you would like to share a table with you, is that okay?"
Seungmin widened his eyes and turned to look. He saw the red-headed male smiling and waving at him with a big smile on his face.
Seungmin's heart fluttered, and he turned back around. "Yeah, we don't mind."
"Great! Follow me, and don't worry about your food. We'll bring it to you," the waiter assured.
Han and Seungmin both stood up and waited for the waiter to finish talking with the other duo. As the waiter led them to the new table, Seungmin stayed back to walk and talk with the red-headed male. "Did you arrange this?"
"Did I? I don't know, maybe," He took a breath and smiled. "Okay, yeah, I did."
Seungmin nervously chuckled and took a seat beside Han. Leeknow sat in front of Han, and Chan sat in front of Seungmin. Han raised an eyebrow and asked, "So, why did you guys ask for a table with us?"Leeknow simply replied, "Just because."
As they were talking, the waitresses arrived with their food, and they all expressed their gratitude. Seungmin squinted suspiciously at both of the guys sitting in front of him and asked, "Tell me, what are your names?" The red-haired guy chuckled and said, "My name is Chan, but you can call me yours," while maintaining eye contact with Seungmin.
