Chanmin focused
Seungmin and Chan made eye contact, causing Seungmin to quickly pull away from Chan's embrace. "Nothing!" Seungmin exclaimed, averting his gaze to the floor and nervously chuckling. "Why would you even think that...?"
"Oh, nothing," Leeknow giggled.
"Cut it out, Leeknow," Chan sighed. "We were just hugging, nothing more." Chan glanced at Seungmin and smirked when he noticed Seungmin's reddened ears.
Both Leeknow and Han raised their eyebrows. "Unless you wanna keep on thinking what you guys were thinking," Chan said, grinning at Seungmin as he turned to face him.
Seungmin's cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "No, no, it's not like that," Seungmin stammered, glancing at Leeknow and Han. "I think it's time for you guys to leave, right?" Seungmin hurriedly blurted out, clearly flustered. He went over to Chan, pulled him out of bed, and nudged him towards Leeknow. Then, he gently guided them towards the door. "It was great to see you guys," Seungmin smiled.
Leeknow opened the door and left. "It was great to see your lovely face again, Min," Chan said, exiting the room. Just as Seungmin was about to close the door, Chan turned and held it open. "Want to hang out tomorrow?" Chan tilted his head.
"Sure," Seungmin replied.
"Great," Chan smiled, which melted Seungmin's heart. He felt a wave of warmth inside. "Type in your number, please." He pouted.
Seungmin smiled and did as he was asked.
"I'll see you then, beautiful," Chan winked and then walked away.
...
It was the next day, and Han had just finished taking a shower. He changed his clothes and stepped out of the bathroom, where he found Seungmin giggling at his phone. "Who has you smiling like that?" Han giggled and took a seat next to Seungmin.
"Chan," Seungmin replied.
Han's smile faded, and he looked down. "Hey, what's wrong?" Seungmin asked. "You don't like him?"
Han sighed. "No, it's just Leeknow."
"What now?"
"He found out that I was the one who beat up Mingyu. He might tell Chan," Han explained.
Seungmin gasped. "Shit," he muttered.
"Don't worry, he doesn't know that you were involved. It's just me who's in trouble," Han reassured.
"Let's hope he doesn't tell Chan," Seungmin said. "Aren't you supposed to hang out with him today?"
"Yeah, but that's until sunset."
"Have you decided where you guys are going?" Han asked.
"No," Seungmin replied. "What if you get him drunk?" Han suggested with a mischievous grin. "No," Seungmin immediately denied, sensing where Han was going with this. "You get him drunk."
"No," Seungmin persisted.
"Then seduce him."
"No," Seungmin firmly refused.
"Then leave him," Han suggested.
"No!" Seungmin looked at Han, annoyed. "I can't do that... He's too nice."
"Do you want him to find out about what happened?" Han asked, raising an eyebrow.
Seungmin gulped. "No."
"Then do as I say." Han furrowed his eyebrows, got up, and hurried to the kitchen.
Seungmin frowned, feeling conflicted.
...
It was time for Seungmin to hang out with Chan. He wore a black fitted shirt and paired it with beige cargo pants, completing the look with a nice necklace. Seungmin applied light makeup and brushed his bangs. He also put on a subtle cologne, feeling ready to go.
As Seungmin waited for Chan to pick him up, Han commented, "Wow, Seungmin. You look sexy. Chan is totally going to bang you."
"I doubt it. We just met like a day ago," Seungmin rolled his eyes at Han's remark.
"Anyways, where are you going?" He asked. Han was dressed in baggy streetwear with lots of jewelry.
"I'm going out with Leeknow," Han replied.
Seungmin felt a surge of anger at Han for making plans with Leeknow. "What are you guys going to do?" he asked, trying to hide his frustration.
"I don't know, but I'm going to make things right," Han replied.
"Yeah, right," Seungmin scoffed, not believing Han's intentions.
Just then, they heard a knock on the door. "That must be Chan," Seungmin smiled and walked up to the door. "Remember what I told you, Minnie," Han reminded him.
Seungmin opened the door and was greeted by Chan. He couldn't help but feel weak in the knees at Chan's handsome appearance. Chan was wearing a sleeveless black diesel keyhole shirt with baggy grey jeans, complemented by his slicked-back hair and jewelry. Seungmin's eyes couldn't help but wander to Chan's biceps, imagining leaving hickeys all over them.
"Hi puppy," Chan smiled.
Seungmin felt his heart flutter at the nickname. "Hey, oldie," he playfully replied.
"I'm only two years older," Chan pouted.
Seungmin giggled. "Let's get going."
"Of course," Chan agreed.
Seungmin waved goodbye to Han and closed the door behind him, ready to spend time with Chan.
...
They were now seated on bar stools, continuing to flirt with each other and ordering more drinks as time passed by.
"So, what do you do for work, old man?" Seungmin teased, trailing his finger down Chan's chest.
"I'm a detective," Chan replied, taking a sip of his margarita.
"A detective? So, you enjoy investigating and exploring things?" Seungmin asked, intrigued.
Chan nodded, a hint of a smile on his lips. "Yes, I do. It's an exciting job."
Seungmin smirked, feeling bold. "Well, you can explore me," he mumbled under his breath.
