3rd person POV

Taylor's laugh echoed in the kitchen. They were currently making dinner together, which was as chaotic as you would think.

The speaker which was playing the song 'Blank Space', had just changed to 'So High School - Acoustic Version' which Taylor had on Spotify, just for them.

Travis circled his arms around Taylor's waist, swaying them together as he sung the words in her ear. Taylor closed her eyes, smiling to herself as she rested her head back on his shoulder.

Taylor started to sing with him, and soon they were belting the song in the room, as a duet.

After the song finished, Taylor's phone vibrated, which sent a loud *ding* sound in the room, since her phone was the one connected to the speaker.

"Could you check that for me, babe?" Taylor asked, while she turned back to the dinner on the stove.

Travis nodded and pecked her cheek before he walked over to the opposite bench.

He tapped her phone so it would turn on, but his heart sank when he saw the name on the screen.

'Text message: Alex'

That could be a girl, right? He thought.

But she would have told me about them then.

"What was it, Trav?" Taylor asked, after she noticed he went silent.

"Just a text, babe." He muttered quietly.

Travis swallowed thickly and pasted a smile back on his face for when he turned back around.

"Trav? You okay?" She questioned. She was looking curiously at him, unsure why he was unusually quiet.

"Fine, sweetie." He sent her a tight smile, but she noticed since his muscles were unusually tense.

"Okay.. well, what did the text say?" Taylor asked. She turned the stove off and moved the pan to the back.

Taylor turned and walked over to him. She wrapped an arm around his waist and opened her phone with the other.

At the message, she smiled at her phone and quickly typed out a reply before she shut her phone off again.

Travis was looking at her as she smiled, and he felt a pang of jealousy when it was the smile that she reserved for him.

Taylor met his eyes and cupped his face.

"Babe? What's going on?" She asked, still oblivious to why he was so quiet.

"Who is Alex?" He asked quietly.

"A friend of mine..?" She replied, clearly confused.

Travis nodded, but his jaw was tense.

"Are you cheating on me?" He spoke, anger evident in his expression.

Taylor's eyebrows raised, "Excuse me?"

"It's a pretty fucking simple question, Taylor. Are you cheating on me?" Travis repeated, his voice was raised a little, but he wasn't yelling.

Hearing him call her Taylor, her heart sank. He never called her 'Taylor' unless he was telling her he loved her.
