Destiny Reunites (Sun Wukong X Reader)

Plight

I turn to Ne Zha with a frustrated sigh, knowing that if I ignore him, he will do everything to try to speak with me.

He's just as persistent as Monkey King. Probably worse realistically...

I curl my hand into a fist out of frustration and look at the heavenly deity with a solemn look on my face.

"Ne Zha."

He returns my expression with a serious one and stands tall. "Y/n. It's been some time since we've last spoken."

"It's been like a few weeks at most buddy heh," I say with a nonchalant smile.

However, he doesn't take my lighthearted response well and pulls out his spear before pointing it at me. "You know you're not supposed to be here. You need to return with me if you don't wish for there to be an uproar."

"Oh please, what kind of uproar can I cause?" I ask with a cheeky smile, but I then turn serious. "You're going to have to take me back kicking and screaming then."

I quickly take out my Ribbon Wand just in time to block an attack from his spear. I swat away his spear with my ribbon and barely dodge an incoming ring of fire. My eyes slightly widen before narrowing as I dash over to him and go to kick him in the stomach. He catches my leg and grabs it before throwing me up in the air.  He throws shards of pink fragments at me and I quickly shield myself from them but they scratch me everywhere.

"Tsk!" 

He jumps up to me and kicks back towards a wall of a building before throwing two fire rings at me, hoping to pin me to the wall. I use the wall to land on and whip my ribbon, knocking away the two back towards him. I launch myself towards him and get red to tackle him to the ground but he quickly grabs his spear and uses it to hit me away. I slide back and glare at him, knowing what I must do.

I dash towards him again and he gets ready to hit me with his spear again but I take him by surprise when I throw one of his fragments at him. This catches him off guard and quickly knocks it away but I take that opportunity to slide underneath him and get behind him. I whip my ribbon at him, having it wrap around his leg before using all my strength to swing him into the air.

His eyes widen when he finds himself in the air and quickly activates his Fire Wheels, hoping to burn the ribbon to a crisp.

That's when I use the rest of my strength to slam him down onto the ground, creating a small crater in the process. He lets out a series of coughs before looking up at me as I stand over him. 

At that moment, my Ribbon Wand glows and turns into a sword and my eyes glow green, as I glare down at the Lotus Prince.

Ne Zha stands up and glares back at me. 

"..."

In an instant, he appears behind me and goes to punch me but I quickly turn around, catching his fist before it even gets an inch near me. 

"You're fast... But I'm faster."

We glare at each other for a moment, but he relents and lowers his fist. He puts away his spear while my weapon turns back to its original form and I put it away. He groans and runs his hand through his hair.

"You shouldn't be here. There are consequences to this and everyone will be facing his wrath. You know-"

"I know damn it!" I snap back. His eyes widen a bit at that but I sigh and shake my head. "Sorry... I just, I'm not going back. I risked it all to escape after all. You know what it's like there... I am not going back. I cannot. I will not. I'm sorry Ne Zha."

He reaches his hand to me before pulling back. "I..." He holds his head. "You have to return eventually. You can't keep this up forever."

"I can and I will. Besides, I won't return until I say so. I won't return just because he wants me back."
