"Ma, seriously I'm fine." Lyra tried to convince Isabella who strictly denied. After what happened back at her sister's house, she didn't want to leave her daughter's side at all.
The new mother got out the car in a hastily pace to get to the other side to open the passenger door. The girl shook her head and chuckled, she got out the door as was hit with the cool breeze of the night.
By the time Lyra woke up the sun had set causing the sky to become a raven sky while the moonlight lit up parts of the city. The night sky kinda reminded Lyra of Asch's eyes. How they always had a small spark behind them and how they glistened in light.
The girl blushed slightly as she realized she was day dreaming about the prince. Shaking her head lightly, Lyra made her way into the apartment complex and towards her apartment.
Reaching the fifth floor, the duo left the elevator and walked down the hall to the first door they saw. They both made a stop before glancing at one another and smiling. After Lyra's mother got arrested, Isabella got the full custody of Lyra which made the two happy.
"Alright, I'm going to leave now. Please be careful." Isabella rambled on like a concerned mother which caused Lyra to giggled. The girl nodded before hugging her new mother and instantly felt a pair of arms wrapped around her as well.
Breaking the embrace the two bid goodbyes before Lyra turned her attention to her front door, twisting the knob she entered the house with ease before closing it once more. Lyra sighed with relief as her body turned to face forward but stiffened when she felt a pair of arms around her.
"Oh thank goodness you're alive!" Noi cried as he held the human tightly, like a stray puppy. Lyra eyes widened when she took a glimpse of the worried daemos, a faint blush crept up on her cheeks. A small chuckle left her lips as she played with the daemos's pinkish locks.
Noi muscles relaxed before glancing up at the human with a smile before it fades away after seeing a patch over the girl's eyebrow and lip. The daemos immediately asked what happened causing Lyra to stiffen under his touch and gulp.
"I-I don't want to talk about it.." Lyra grumbled as she broke from the embrace and walked further into her home. Noi walked after her worried as he fiddled with his fingers, anxiously.
"Leif can heal your wounds for you!" Noi suggested a little too loud causing the other daemos' to get a glimpse of Noi and Lyra before their mouth parted. Leif immediately rushed over to the princess and took her face into his palm.
"Who did this to you, princess?!" Leif asked as a snarl left his lips. Surprised by his actions, Lyra face heated up at his touch against her cheek. It felt like his imprints were stuck to her face like glue. The princess struggled to find words before Pierce joined in.
"You alright, my lady?" The daemos asked softly though it had a hint of roughness causing Lyra to melt like an ice cube. She nodded her head as she mumbled a softly "I'm fine" for the daemos' to hear.
"I'll put her to rest..." Asch spoke up causing the daemos' to look at him surprised while the human looked at him flustered. The prince made his way to the princess before wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her away from Leif's grasp.
