Better with you - Gojo x Geto

Chapter 2

-Geto POV-

Me and Satoru walk out of the cafe feeling really full. Those were crazy big portions, but my food tasted great. It was really fun being with him, even if we're already together all the time. Suddenly I get a call from Shoko.

"Hey, Yaga sensei said that we can come an hour late today, I think he's sick or something. Do you guys wanna go to that fair happening?" Shoko suggests. "Sure but is 1 hour enough? We would probably need 2 hours at least." "Yeah well, I think we should just skip today, I bet Yaga sensei's not gonna show at all." While me and her are talking, Satoru looks confused. "I mean... I'll ask Satoru what he thinks, unless he says no I'm up for it."

Predictably, he says yes.

-Gojo POV-

An amusement park huh? That sounds fun! I'm surprised Suguru said yes, I thought he would care more about skipping school. I guess he's feeling adventurous today.

I have liked Suguru since about a week after I met him. At first, I didn't realize that I liked him. I had lived my whole life being straight, and I honestly didn't know that much about being attracted to your same gender. It was really weird at first, feeling way more attached to him than anyone else. There were always girls wanting to date me, but I just didn't feel anything for them I mean, I barely knew any of them!

The only way I realized that I liked him was when Shoko came out as Bi to us. I was really surprised but when she came out, I felt like so much made sense to me now. You can like the same gender. It's not weird. Suguru has just always felt different. We are gonna get stronger together, and we're gonna stay together. He's my best friend; my one and only.

"Alright, so which way is the fair? Did Shoko tell you?" "She said that it's called Japan's wonderland, I'll search it up on the map." Japan's wonderland? "That's kind of a stupid name... I guess it gets the point across though." I wonder why Shoko wants to go to an amusement park, I think she's more of a cafe type of person.

As we head to the amusement park, Suguru starts humming a song. Holdup... I know this! "Are you humming always forever?! I love that song!" "You like it too? I love this song. I usually like things sung by guys but this just has a good vibe." We have similar music tastes. We figured that out when we had to name songs in different genres for a game, and we named almost the all exact same songs.

"Woah..." This place is massive. There's at least 5 really really big rides, I thought this was gonna be a sort of small fair. "Well, Shoko said that she was at the food place. Let's go!" "Yup!" There are so many people here, it's pretty awesome. I like places full of people, to me it feels more exciting than being alone. Suguru doesn't like crowds. Whenever we're on a mission with a group, he always gets stressed about getting separated. It's kind of cute. Of course, I would never tell him that.

We see Shoko sitting on a bench where she's talking to a girl. She looks really happy and... her face is sort of red... "Suguru, why don't we let them talk. She can just call us if she's wondering where we are right?" Letting her be with that girl I think she's interested in also means me and Suguru being alone at the amusement park. Good job Shoko! "Alright, what do you wanna ride first? I like big rides. You better not get scared!" Suguru says. "Oh I won't get scared, I should be worried about you scaredy cat!" Then we agree without saying anything to race to the tallest ride.

We quickly get seated and the ride starts. Wait, we're going already? That is a really big drop... Well I'm not scared! I bet Suguru is though! "Aren't you scared? I bet you're gonna start crying before the drop!" "Nope I'm fine. You're scared already, Satoru. You can't hide it from me! You know how long I've known you!" Nope, I'm definetely not scared of some stupid ride! As we come closer to the drop, other people on the ride start talking about how excited they are.

Suddenly, we're at the drop. With even noticing I grab onto Suguru's sleeve and hold onto him like a little kid. Why would I do that! I'm not even scared. We're going so fast doing the ride. He probably thinks I'm so weird. I mean, it's just holding onto his sleeve, I guess it's not that crazy, but it's still embarrassing that Im doing that. Now we're at the bottom of the drop, and I look over to see if he's looking at me all grossed out.

But no, he's looking forward, and it seems like his face is a bit red. "Sorry, I didn't mean to..." Wait his face is red? It's probably just from the drop. "No it's fine." I thought he would already be teasing me about holding onto him. Maybe he didn't actually care that much! Perfect.

-Geto POV-

As we're going down the big drop, I feel Satoru grab onto me. Was he actually scared? I don't want him to be scared. I feel like hugging him, he can't be scared. Wait. Why do I feel like I need to protect him? I glance over and he looks like he feels bad about grabbing me. I wasn't expecting that he would be scared. He let go of my arm and said sorry, but I didn't feel mad or uncomfortable. "No, it's fine" I said.

But I thought he was really cute while doing that.

Hope u liked the second part! This is so fun to write. Don't know how long I'm gonna make this, but I know when reading I always want stuff to have 20 parts or more, for me it just feels like too little to have a story.
