Better with you - Gojo x Geto

Chapter 3

-Geto POV-

As we get off of the ride, we both feel kind of awkward. Satoru had grabbed onto my arm while going down, and I think he's feeling really bad about it. I didn't mind much, even though it surprised me. Honestly, it felt nice for him to see me as someone who he could rely on, even if he did subconsciously.

"Sooooo, what do you wanna ride next Suguru? I wasn't scared, I just... thought you were scared so I grabbed onto you, we can ride all the big rides you want!" Even though he said this, I knew he was nervous. "Why don't we ride on the Ferris wheel, that's more relaxing." He nodded in confirmation, and we started walking to the Ferris wheel. Then, I saw an ice cream shop. I bet Satoru wants some, he loves ice cream. "Want some ice cream? I'll get it for you." "Really?!" He says. "I'll take that as a yes."

We walk into the shop and he starts looking at the flavours. He's looking at blue raspberry and lemon, and it's pretty clear he likes sour stuff. "Suguru, what are you gonna get? I'm getting blue raspberry and lemon!" Predictable. "I think I'm gonna get chocolate caramel and burnt marshmallow." The worker there asks for our order and we tell them what we want. It's made quickly and then they give the ice cream to us.

"Do you like your flavours Satoru? Yours looks pretty good." "Yeah, it's so good! Can I try some of yours? I'll give you some of mine too!" I hesitate for a second. Trying each others ice cream... isn't that really close? I mean, don't couples normally do that? No, it's completely normal for best friends to do that! It's just ice cream! Just food! So normal! "Yeah sure, have some." Satoru leans in and licks some of the ice cream. For some reason I feel kind of embarrassed about that. "Here, now you can have some of mine!"

I lean in and slowly take some of the ice cream. I can't help but think about how he was eating this too, and I don't even taste the flavours. "Good right? Yours is pretty good too, but it's not exciting enough." "Well I think yours is too exciting." My face was red and I really hoped he couldn't see it.

As we get to the Ferris wheel, we see how short the line is. It's only about a 2 minute wait which is insane for an amusement park this big. "Wow, look how high up it goes! Isn't that awesome Suguru?" "Yeah, we can probably see the entire city from there." The worker seats us in one of the carts and we start slowly going up. Satoru is looking out the window, and I look at him and realize how pretty his hair and eyes are, even behind those sunglasses.

He looks over the amusement park and his bright blue eyes glisten in the sunlight, and something inside me makes me pull out my phone and take a photo of him. He doesn't even notice and I decide to look out over the park too. "Suguru, this is so cool! Look at all the people down there like little ants!" "They do look like little ants." We're about halfway to the top now, and I start looking around at the other people in the carts. "Shoot..." I mumble as my face goes a tiny bit red.
Almost every other cart is filled with couples.

-Gojo POV-

As I'm looking over the amusement park, Suguru takes a photo of me. I can't tell why he did it, but I think he would be embarrassed if he found out that I knew so I don't say anything about it. "Suguru, this is so cool! Look at all the people down there like little ants!" This is actually a pretty relaxing moment, sitting in a Ferris wheel cart with the guy I like. It's probably mostly couples riding Ferris wheels together. I hope other people think we're a couple.

As we reach the top, I get a call from Shoko. Even though it made perfect sense to call, I can't help but be a little annoyed at the timing and wish that she called just a few minutes later when we were outside again. "Yo, where are you guys? You never came to the food place. You still here?" "Yeah, we saw you but we decided not to interrupt you talking with that girl... nice going Shoko!" She hesitated for a second.

"Thanks for think in about that. I am glad that you didn't interrupt, we planned to meet up this Sunday. Soooooo... are you guys having fun together?" She said in a sort of suggestive tone. Shoko found out that I liked Suguru by herself, even if I didn't do a good job at hiding how much I liked him. I just started asking about coming out and being attracted to your same gender.
I may have also started asking her a bunch of questions about Suguru at the same time.

"Yes we're having fun, we're on the Ferris wheel right now." "Oooh lucky, you better be sitting beside him and leaning on his shoulder right now!" I am so glad this call is not on speaker. "K well I won't interrupt your flirting time anymore. Have fun!" Before I can say anything she hangs up. Now I get to look at Suguru and pretend I'm actually looking outside like he is. The window of the cart is open a little and light gusts of wind are blowing his bangs back. He looks so pretty. I wanna go over and sit right next to him, touch his face, play with his hair.

I wanna tell him how much I love him and how he doesn't realize how great he is.
I wanna talk to him for hours about how many good traits he has, and how in my eyes he's perfect.
But what would he think. He doesn't like me.

This part was really fun to write. I've never written any fanfics or any stories at all and its a really fun experience. Hope you enjoyed!
