Lucas: "what do you mean I will have to work?"

Mico: "you are now on your own so you will have to work to survive."

Lucas: "..."

You have never worked in your life, even in your past life you were from a very rich family so you never had to work but that you are a ordinary person with no money, you will have to work.

Lucas: I am so done for...

Lucas: "mico, do I really have to wear this?"

Mico: "yes it's your uniform."

After searching for a while you finally got a job in a bakery.

Lucas: "unbelievable... I used feel like I am at the top of the world and now this..."

Mico: "you will have to get used to it."

Lucas: (sighs) "yeah..."

As you were doing your job, two blondes walk in. One was tall while the other one was short. The taller one had a dragon tattoo on the side of his head while the shorter one has his bangs tied.

Lucas: (wait! Aren't they...)

Mikey: "man! I am really hungry."

Draken: "you just ate yet you are still hungry."

Lucas: (Mikey and draken!!! OMG!!!)

Your eyes shine brightly as you look at them.

Lucas: "hey there, what can i get for you today?"

You greet them with bright smile, Mikey's eyes lits up as he spots the dorayaki.

Mikey: "I will take a dozen of these."

Draken: "hey that's too many!!"

Lucas: "a fan of dorayaki, I see."

Mikey: "you bet I am. They are the best."

As you start to pack the dorayaki, you accidentally knocked over a container of flour. With a swift move, you catch it before it hit the ground, saving the mess. Mikey's eyes widened in surprise, and even Draken raised an eyebrow.

Draken: "nice save."

Lucas: "thanks, it happens sometimes."

You hand over the neatly packed box of dorayaki to Mikey.

Lucas: "here you go, that would be 1200 yen."

Mikey hands over the money with a smile and takes a bite of the dorayaki.

Mikey: "these are awesome."

Lucas: "glad you like them."

Mikey and draken turn to leave the bakery when suddenly an earthquake strikes, mico who has sitting in the counter rolls over.

Mico: "aahhh!"

Without thinking You quickly grab Mikey and draken's hands and pull them towards a sturdy table in the bakery.

Lucas: "get under the table!!"

The three of you huddled under the table as the bakery shook around them. Mikey, despite the situation, couldn't help but notice how soft your hand was. He glanced at Draken, who gave a slight nod, silently communicating that they were both safe.

After what felt like an eternity, the shaking finally subsided. You let out a relieved breath and released their hands, crawling out from under the table to assess the damage.

Lucas: "is everyone ok?"

Mikey: "yeah thanks to you"

You realized you were still holding their hands and quickly let go, blushing slightly. "Sorry about that."

Mikey: "No worries, You saved us. You've got some soft hands for a baker."

Lucas: "I guess I took good care of them but I'm glad you're both okay."

Mikey grinned, holding up the slightly squished dorayaki.

Mikey: "Well, this one's seen better days, but I think it's still good."

Lucas: "you can have another one on the house, consider it a gift for surviving the earthquake."

Mikey eyes gleamed with happiness.

Mikey: "really?"

Draken: "hey! Don't give him too many sweets."

You assess the damage in the bakery luckily only a few items have fallen down and nothing major was broken.

As Draken and Mikey were leaving

Draken: "thanks again, you kept a cool head. We appreciate it."

Lucas: "anytime."

Mikey: "bye bye"

You wave at them while smiling with your eyes closed.
