*Before Chrysayor*

How is she so beautiful? Me and Piper are standing at the deck after we finished sword practice. We stopped a little while ago because we got tired and now we're sitting on the deck.

Ever since she's been here, I haven't been able to keep my eyes off her. Before Percy, she was able to distract me, keeping me distracted.

"Hey Piper," she turned to me with a smile on her face. "Yes?"
"I wanted to thank you for helping me with Percy."
"Oh, what did I do?" She looked kinda confused.

"You eased my stress while I was worried about Percy. If I wasn't preoccupied with showing you around, I would've broken down and started harassing you."

"Oh," Piper smiled. "We'll thank you for not snapping at me." "And I'm glad you and Percy are happy." Why had something about they way she'd said it sound bitter?

"Thank you." We both stared at the sky for a few minutes before Piper turned to me.
"Annabeth, I need to ask you something."
"Shoot."
"How do you feel when you're with Percy?"

I was confused at her question,"What do you mean?"
"Me and Jason... don't really fit."
She was right about that. Even before I told her about Hera, I saw something off. And with Jason trying to take control of the ship, it wasn't helping his case.

"I want to know how you feel when you're with him. I'll be kinda honest, when yall are intimate I feel jealous." I had a feeling she was keeping something to herself, but I didn't question her yet.

"Actually, Im Kinda jealous of Percy. I think you're way better than Jason,  but I know I'll never compare to Percy." I stared at her for a few moments. Piper has a crush on me?

"I-Im sorry I-I should've never told you that. Plus, you and Percy are already together so I probably just made things awkward."Piper was just rambling and I processed what she said.

Then she looked up at me and said "I'm really really sorry," and then very, very slowly, I took her chin with my hand and planted a soft kiss on her lips. She stiffened up a little, but then she slowly relaxed into it.

Her lips started to move against mine, and her arms wrapped around my neck. My hand was caressing her cheek, and I slowly pulled myself into her lap.

"SQWAAAAAAAKKKKKK!!!" My head snapped up and I saw a bird perched up of the sails of the ship. Suddenly, I realized the gravity of what I'd just done and wrenched myself from Piper's grasp.

"OMG, I'm so sorry. I  CANT BELIVE I JUST DID THAT!" Piper flushed and stood up really fast.
"I SHOULDVE NEVER KISSED YOU!" Before I could say anything else, she ran off to her cabin. 

I sat on the floor for a few seconds before I made my way to Percy's room. I wanted to make sure I told him what happened before anything escalates. I also want to tell him that I like Piper. Even if it is just a crush.

"Percy," I knocked on his door. He opened it with a smile. "Hey Wisegirl! Wait what's wrong?" I didn't know what look I had on my face, but it must not be good.
