roses are red, and violets are blue.
I'm still hurt but this poem is for you.
i still remember
how those days were filled with laughter
in your eyes, i saw 'us' growing grey and older.
like in those fairy tales, having happy ever after.
roses are red, and violets are blue.
whatever they say, I'm still into you.
that one rainy night, we had a fight
yelling and yelling, then you held me so tight
we fight and we fix, because that's what is right
I believed you would stay, and yet you were gone before twilight.
Roses are red, and violets are blue.
You left me in pain; this time I'll forget you.
I've waited as i can patiently
only to realize you've gone and really left me
broken and hoping that you'd still come back, and eventually,
I got tired, so there's no turning back; this time I'll choose me.
Roses are red, and violets are blue.
I'm officially closing this chapter—the story of me and you.
