DRAGGING your near lifeless body throughout the main street, you checked the time, painfully heavy bags bundled and bunching on your arms as you realised it had been hours. Heaving your gaze upwards, your eyes drowsily latched onto Sae's abnormally energetic form as he strolled a few paces faster, lost in the dimension of fashion.Realising he was about to enter a 'Tiffany & Co', your energy sky-rocketed as you began to haul ass, virtually flying into the shop and leaving tumble weeds in your wake with a whispering breeze - along with many mysterious grains of sand and strangely placed cacti that suddenly appeared.
Prancing circles around Sae as he looked for the silver jewellery section, he briskly sped off into the direction that the assistant had pointed him to. Sae began to scan the array of opulent varieties - chains and diamonds and gleaming silvers - emerged in the bliss shopping gave him.
He also noted that no prices were displayed which eased him; he didn't want you worrying about expenses. He wouldn't take you shopping if he couldn't afford it.
Whilst Sae analysed each specific and minute detail to obtain the perfect piece, you wandered off to the rings, the promise of a select item of jewellery you didn't own much of prompting you. Peering through the translucent roof of the barricaded bands, your irises raked over each velvety cushion.
Moving onto the next display, this one housed harmonious rings, made specially for duos. You gleaned with a newfound objective for this occasion: matching rings. You vigilantly scanned the plethora of twin bands, cautiously paying attention to what both you and Sae would cherish.
Your eyes latched onto a certain set, pupils enlarging expeditiously at the beguiling circlets as you fell engrossingly in love with them, a child-like giddiness swelling inside your gut as you waved Sae over. Mass amounts of thrill tipped your scale of emotions as it sent you into a jovial overdrive, bouncing on the heel of your feet impatiently as the teal-eyed man approached.
Sae wasn't sure why he felt such intense beatific at your exuberant stature, he just knew that it sent splinters of fondness into his sullen heart. Slowly, at some point, your bubbly personality would infect his heart until he was ill with joy himself. He had accepted all you would come with, all the overwhelming emotions, because he liked how warm they made him feel.
Maybe, when you finally shattered every last piece of negativity in his heart, which he felt was properly beating for the first time in his dull life - he would be as warm as you. He absorbed your rapt state, immersing himself and vicariously feeling so much positivity through you.
He seared the euphoric blush of your cheeks into his mind, along with the surely painful bend of your lips and black-hole-imitating pupils. He loved the sight of you happy, and that was okay. It was okay because it was you, and you were safe: it was safe to feel this. It's normal to love seeing your friends happy; the sickening feeling that was erupting in his stomach was a cause of that, right?
