NAME REASONING ---- Marley is a gender-neutral British name meaning "pleasant wood," under other definitions. The name was given to Marley by his owner because Marley was very good with kids and was always very quiet.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES ---- Marley, like most Saarloos wolfdogs, has short but thick grey-brown fur, large ears and amber eyes. He has a wiry build and hunches a lot.

BACKSTORY
Marley is technically a Saarloos wolfdog, but instead of having two Saarloos parents, he has a German Shepherd mom and a grey wolf dad — which are the two breeds the wolfdog is made up of.
Marley was bought as a sheep herding dog by his owner. He worked together with an older Border Collie named Donut all his life. One day, in the midst of winter, he fell through the ice on a frozen lake nearby the barn. A rag-tag group of nearby wolves looking for other elementals pulled him out of the lake. He joined them on their search, and later realized his sister was also with the group (this is super vague I know).

FAMILY
FATHER ---- Kodiak (grey wolf). A stern guy with tough love. Think Bambi's father.
MOTHER ---- Roxy (German Shepherd). Sweet and loving. Marley doesn't remember much of her besides her nature-y smell.
SIBLINGS ---- Orsolya (Saarloos wolfdog, ice elemental). Unintentionally loud, but always means well. Often comes off as a little odd.

Has water powers. Can control water and "create" it by pulling moisture out of the air (yes I'm bringing back the 2018 elemental wolf trope 🫶).
