all might gave both misaki and izuku a pep talk before the entrance exams. "you've got this, young midoriya and young takahashi!" he smiled his signature smile, making the duo cry out as they hugged their idol tightly. all might sweat dropped at his two kids, sighing with a smile as he patted them both on their heads.

misaki and izuku both sat down in the auditorium in front of a huge screen. the presentation soon started as mic explained how the exams would play off. luckily for them, they had the pleasure of sitting next to bakugo katsuki. misaki huffed, enjoying the life she was living before she saw the blonde again since the last time they talked was when the girl kicked his jewels.

"i see, they're splitting us up so we can't work with any of our friends." bakugo grumbled to himself as he not so sneakily peaked at izuku's card. "yea, you're right," izuku replied "our examiner numbers are one after the other but we're assigned to different battle centres." his eyes glancing over bakugo's card. he started pouting when he saw he had a different one to misaki's.

"get your eyes off my card." bakugo sneered grumpily. "i'm really looking forward to crushing you, bakugo-kun." misaki smirked at the angry blonde.

"the fuck did you just say—"

mic interrupted bakugo saying how there are three types of faux villains in every battle centre. we earn points based on their level of difficulty, the goal in this trial is to use our quirk to raise our score by 'shredding these faux villains like a mid song guitar solo', according to mic.

bakugo grumbled in frustration as he glared at misaki for the remainder of the introduction. "let's hear a plus ultra!" mic exclaimed "good luck! hope you practiced hitting more than just books."

currently, the duo just finished the written exam. they were standing outside the changing rooms after changing into more comfortable clothes. midoriya moped, thinking about how he wouldn't be with his friend for the practical. "it's okay izu-kun! we'll still do our best right?" misaki tried to console her green haired friend. "we got this!" he nodded his head vigorously, clenching his fists in determination.

misaki and izuku both said their goodbyes, parting ways as they walked to their respected buses that would take them to their battle centres. misaki boarded the bus and chose one of the seats near the back of the bus. she stared out the window and looked at the sea of a thousand different faces that were partaking in the entrance exam. she was peacefully picking at her nails until she felt the seat dip beside her.

there sat a girl who had short, dark blue hair with earphone jacks hanging from her earlobes. misaki's jaw slightly opened in awe. "cool quirk," misaki smiled at the girl, taking out her phone and connecting her dual headphone jack "wanna listen?" she offered with a smile.

the purple haired girl nodded in response, plugging in her earlobe. misaki opened dotify (pls don't sue me) and clicked shuffle on her album filled with arctic monkeys songs. the purple haired girl's eyes immediately shone as she grinned widely, turning to misaki.

"i think we're gonna get along brilliantly," she said as she chuckled lowly "my name's jiro kiyoka, nice to meet you." she spoke, happiness bubbling in her stomach. "takahashi misaki." the girl replied as she smiled. the two peacefully sat next to eachother as they listened to music. before they knew it, they were already parked at the gates of battle centre b. misaki and kiyoka both said their goodbyes and good lucks before they split up in the crowed.
