the trio landed roughly onto the floor beneath them. misaki groaned as her eyes began to flutter open from her uncomfortable position on the floor. she surveyed her surroundings, she was in an old run down building that was empty with broken windows. a groan behind her caused her to turn around abruptly, but she calmed down when she realised it wasn't a villain.
"bakugo? kirishima?" she questioned, chuckling at the red head that fell on top of bakugo "at least i'm not alone." she sighed in relief. bakugo groaned, shoving kirishima off him as the red head landed with a 'thump'. the blonde stood up, confusion written on his face. "where the fuck are we?" he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
misaki followed suit, clumsily standing up and gazing out of the broken windows. her head tilted in confusion until she looked up to see the similar glass dome around her. "we're still in the usj, but we're in one of the wreckage sites." the noirette concluded, walking up to her red haired friend and helping him up.
"it also looks like we have some company." kirishima added, looking at the villains that were entering the same building they were in. "stupid fuckin' villains, thinking that splittin' us apart will make us weaker and easier to pick off," bakugo growled "well, i'll show em' who they're messing with! just try me!" he exclaimed, explosions popping in the palm of his hands.
"come on bakugo," the spiky red head sweat dropped as he sighed at the blonde "we need to stay calm here."
"I AM CALM."
"maybe in another universe..." misaki muttered under her breath with a slight chuckle. her eyes suddenly widened as goosebumps formed at the back of her neck. she quickly ducked down, narrowly missing an arrow that was aimed to kill her from the outside. "get down!" she exclaimed as another barrage of arrows were planted into the wall behind her.
misaki used her webs to barricade the window to obscure the villain's vision. the noirette thought for a moment, furrowing her eyebrows in concentration before the realisation dawned upon her. "they're trying to lure us down to the bottom floor so the other villains can pick us off," she thought out loud "that or they're trying to corner us."
"let's bring the fight to them!" bakugo grinned maliciously. "no. we have to deal with this carefully and strategically." misaki glared at the stubborn blonde. "and plus, our classmates are out there, we have to find them." kirishima added, worried for his fellow classmates.
"they're in 1a for a reason," bakugo grumbled, standing up after the noirette made cover "they can handle themselves." he huffed. the trio froze in shock as they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. they readied their stance, preparing for the inevitable fight.
the door was barged open and the villains came rushing in. bakugo smirked manically and immediately threw himself into a fight. kirishima activated his quirk, hardening his body and followed after the blonde. misaki watched as the two continued to fight the numerous villains that targeted the teenagers.
the noirette felt goosebumps at the back of her neck once more, she quickly ducked and successfully dodged a mace that was aimed at her head. the villain's mace-hand got stuck in the wall, he struggled to get his weapon unstuck. misaki reacted quickly and dodged another arrow that tore through her webs, hitting the wall.
the villain was finally able to get his mace-hand unstuck and immediately swung towards the girl. misaki backflipped out of the way, dodging another attack from the villain. misaki flipped onto the wall behind the villain, she had a clear shot of the villain's mutation quirk. she shot a web at the spiky weapon and yanked it towards her, causing it to hit the villain in the face.
