"You're what I'm missing in life." Are the words whispered by Kingsley, a short boy you had recently met.

Your best friend, Clémentine had invited you to join her friend group she named; " The Lark. "
The second you had agreed to join the group you had assumed was just a bunch of kids doing random things. Well.. you were kind of wrong.

The second you met the 3 other people in the group, you realized you had found where you wanted to stay, forever.

One boy in particular, Kingsley had his eyes on you. He was easy to tell apart from the rest of the people, he was short, loud, energetic and.. overly friendly.

The first person to greet you, Perrine came up with a smile, pulling off her deer mask. "Hello, my name is Perrine. Me and Clémentine have made this group in inspiration of a group of people called "The Harkers."

As Perrine explained further, you found yourself more and more confused. As she saw your confusion, she soon quieted down.

"Well anyways, I'm Kingsley!" The brunette boy innerupted, his short arm reaching up to interject as he walked to you, Perrine reluctantly moving out of his way.

"Do you want trinkets?" He asked, before you could respond you were handed a hemp bag of random small things, a huge smile on his face.

"Ooh I like your outfit, do you want a mask? I can make you one!" He squeals out as a bright, toothy smile met your eyes. His sheer excitement was utterly endearing.

Feeling bad saying no, you nod. "Sure, I'd love to have one." Those words; which seemed to be an activation code, he grasped your hand tightly as he dragged you off before Cole could even introduce himself.

Cole didn't mind much, he disliked meeting new people and new things. But; he was determined to meet you properly.. at some point.

As you were dragged through the cottage, you soon reached a room labeled "Kingsley" with a crown and a tree beside it.

"Why's there a tree?" You ask, turning to look at the boy who was dragging you into the room that smelled of dried out mushrooms and fresh cut grass.

"I'm a tree! Well.. not exactly. I'm obviously a person, but the God I dress as is.. a tree. Ish? It's difficult to explain." The boy says, his voice quieting with embarrassment with every other word.

You nodded, catching on to what he said. "I get what you mean, it's okay."

He smiled at your words, knowing you may become his new best friend. Maybe.. more? You shake away the thought of getting with a boy you quite literally just met. You chuckled, watching him sort through a wood bin of fabric and leather.

"What god do you wanna be?" He asked. Since you aren't much of a religious person, you just shrugged.

He stared awkwardly as he nodded, smiling still. He liked you. "Well that's fine, you don't have to be a god. Do you wanna just be an animal?" Your eyes soon light up in excitement as you nod.

"What animal? Anything in mind or just.. anything?" Once more you shrug, taking an actual moment to think.

"I think a wolf would fit in well." You say, cringing a bit at the thought. You giggled to yourself at the thought of acting like an animal; or pretending to be a wolf.

"Are you sure? You can be like.. a llama.. or a bear.. fox maybe?" Kingsley suggested, and you perk up at the word "fox."

"Ooh, a fox sounds good actually. Could I do that?" You ask, no longer cringing. He smiles and nods, digging through before finding light orange and white, fuzzy and short fur and a bunch of leather.

"Sit down, I'm gonna sketch your face and take measurements." Kingsley said, his words falsely demanding. As you sat down, he grabbed a small book from his pocket, just staring at you.
