The morning after the mess of constantly being on the brink of pure mortification, you woke up. But not necessarily by will. You woke up to the sound of movement and rustling. Loud rustling.

As you turned away from the sound, half asleep, you hear a whimper. You recognized it. Kingsley. He was upset. Your eyes open instantly as you rub them to get the tiredness out, sitting up slowly.

"Kingsley?" You ask, turning to look at the boy who was laid there, a faint frown on his now dry lips. The second he saw your once limp body upright and looking at him, his frown quite literally turned upside down.

A big toothy grin spread across his face ear to ear as he reached out, pulling you back into his arms as he placed soft kisses all over your head, not realizing you two haven't gotten to that point physically yet.

You tensed at the kissing, feeling the sudden barrage of soft lips hitting your face, but the second you get used to it you melt into the touch before you can even complain.

You curl up, back into the position you two were in before as he soon pulled away from the kisses. Realization hit as you stared at him, and he stared at you. Before either of you could figure out the entire situation you turned red, hiding in his chest, letting out a whiney embarrassed sound.

He let out a quiet sigh, gently petting your head. "I'm sorry.. I- I didn't really like.. think." He explains in a jumbled form of.. a sentence?

You nodded, silencing him before he could speak anymore. "No.. please.. please don't apologize." You say as you reach up to gently pet him and comfort him.

His embarrassed flush soon went away, sighing in relief as he let out a faint purr. You slowly pull away, your hands wrapping around the boy once more as you nuzzled into him.

Thankfully, you had gotten comfortable with him and felt the constant embarrassment soon deteriorate.

"I.. I love you." You whisper, unaware he had said it previously when you were unconscious. But wanting you to have your moment; Kingsley pauses.

"I-.." he whispers, his body pretending to freeze. He looks down at you, a smile tugging at his lips as he smiles.

"I love you too, sweetheart." He responds, tears welling in his eyes as he looks down at you, cupping your face in his hands gently.

"You're so precious." He whispers, his face slightly pink. He couldn't help but get emotional, seeing how adorable you are.

"Are you about to cry?" You question, holding back a laugh as you reach up to comfort him.

"Ma-no.. I just.. I have something in my eye." He plays off with a chuckle, but he can't help the single tear that begins rolling down his red face. You stifle out a laugh, seeing how emotional he is. "Are you sure? You seem to be crying."

Your words sent him over the edge. He began sobbing to himself as he cried on your shoulder, your hair tickling his face. "Oh you're actually crying.. over me." You say, almost stumbling over your words as you scratch his back, comforting the boy who had just flabbergasted you.

As his tears stained your shirt, you couldn't help but find it endearing watching him cry over someone he had just met.

"And you say I'm the "precious" one hm?" You tease. And he's right, you are. Don't even bitch. "You.. you are." He retaliates, his voice shaking as he coughs, getting choked up with his own saliva, trying to calm himself down.

You slowly sit up, guiding him to sit up too. Watching the small Kingsley struggle to simply sit was the funniest thing you'd ever seen. Holding him up by laying your legs over him and propping them up so he could sit without struggling was funny as is.

But seeing how every time you wiped his tears away more just kept coming and piling on. "You're such an odd one, you know?" You comment. Bitch you're just as weird. But whatever anyways.

Somehow, you manage to calm him down by bribing him with small toys and trinkets, a pile of small things sat beside him as he rummaged through them. To be fair, it was a good idea to pick up random shit you found because now, have you not only befriended a strange creature you weren't even sure was human, but you have comfort.

For one in ur life weirdo. Butt anyways again. Watching him play with the small toys and things you gave him was the cutest thing ever. "Are you gonna finish my mask today or are you gonna continue to like.. play with that?" You ask, a bit excited to see yourself "dressed" as a fox.

He immediately stops moving, remembering he owes you a mask still. "I forgot about it completely.. fuck." He whispers, taking you a bit aback he cussed.

I mean like, everyone does it but it's shocking coming from a boy who looks like he says "erm what the scallop!! No seriously, what the fart guys."

But enough dogging on the cutie, he stares at you blankly before nodding. "Do you wanna come with me? I think I may just take some from Perrine.  She has literally everything." Kingsley comments, standing up as he grabs the tiny ceramic duck in the pile of trinkets you gave him.

He stuck it in his pocket, his eyes following it as he smiled faintly, on the brink of tears once more. This time, it's because he genuinely saw this.. thing. Going somewhere. Or atleast he hoped. He admired you, a lot.

"Oh yeah, while you were sleeping, I kinda.. I got the chance to like.. think about things." He blurted out, turning to look at you.

"What things?" You asked, you couldn't tell if he was about to say he hated you or he was going to ask you out.

"Uhm.."
