The flight lands at 9:59 AM basically just on time I grab my carry-on from the bin as I step off the plane and walk towards the luggage claim all I could think about is how excited I am to see Riley but also nervous I am to see how I fit in here. I get my suitcase. Go to the door where Riley said she would meet me I begin to look around. Not knowing where she is until I feel someone tap my shoulder. it's her my best friend who I haven't seen in almost a year finally, I'm back with her.  I give her the biggest hug. As we walk to the car. and make our way to our new apartment during the car ride she tells me about her friends and how she wants me to meet them. Idea I'm up for the idea eventually I think it may be really fun. Riley picked up the key to our apartment ahead of time. We drive to the apartment she parks her car and we walk up together. She unlocks the door. I open the door and we walk in at the same time hand in hand. I never thought I'd really be moving in with her looking at the house we have together I think we will be living together for a while. we look around together picking our rooms and then we separate as we both get settled.

It's around six now we finally finished decorating and unpacking. I'm sitting in the living room watching TV. Riley comes out with a cake. She starts singing happy birthday and I blow the candles. I Close my eyes, and wish for a guy who will finally care about me and a boy who will love me. after making my wish Riley gives me a piece of paper. A birthday party invite but for myself. On July 4, which is tomorrow.

A- What is this?
R- It's a birthday party! Surprise!
A- Wait, who's going?
R- Well, I invited a lot of influencers. There's a lot of people going.
A- How long have you been planning this?
R- A few months, at least but come on get up we need to go get dinner and snacks. It's our first night in. We need to watch legally blonde.

I get up from the couch and throw on my shoes. Just go to McDonald's and the gas station. From McDonald's I get a 10 piece chicken McNugget and a Coke. Riley gets the same and we split a large fry. we go to the gas station and get snacks and drinks, a lot of them. I got two notifications from my phone.

I don't really think much of it me and Riley go up to the register and pay and we get in the car to go home. I wonder if's Malachi's gonna be there tomorrow? I just think it would be pretty cool to meet him. I mean, I did like him in stuck in the middle. I wrote a whole song about him in third grade. I hope she didn't tell him that. when we get home, we turn on our favorite movie legally blonde and I decide to Instagram for my first day in LA.

I look over at Riley letting out a laugh Before looking back at the TV, leaning my head on her shoulder and eventually drifting off to sleep I can't believe I'm here. I think i'm really gonna like it here.
