Rekindled love (On Hold )

CHAPTER - 6

Ram entered inside Gurleen's cabin .

Gurleen : uncle baithiye ( gesturing towards the chair ) how did Ruhi react to your affection)?

Ram : she is behaving normally but she asked me how her accident happened ? (tensed) Kya kahun main usse ab?

Gurleen : Rash driving .( lost )

Ram : (confused) huh!

Gurleen : haan uncle aapko bolna padega that she was rash driving and a truck came towards her that time she was not able to do anything . It was a hit and run case .

Ram : but it was not a hit and run case it was a bloody plan of murder (in an angry tone).

Gurleen : ( calmly) uncle aap use sach nahi bata sakte . she will take unwanted stress and pressurise  her brain which will eventually  lead danger  to her life . We have lost one we cannot afford to lose another. (emotionally )

Ram : but kab tak hum uss se yeh chipaayenge. Ek na ek din, she will get to know  pher hum kya karenge gul. It will become more difficult for us to handle her.

Gurleen : uncle,listen to me hum usse kuch nahi bata sakte.

Ram :  but jab woh apne body changes ke bare mein puchegi  pher hum kya karenge gul .

Gurleen : wahi karenge jo maine aapse kaha hai .

Ram : what do you mean ? (confused)

Gurleen : aapko Aarohi ko Ruhi ka past batana hoga . You are getting  na what I am trying to say?

Ram : per puttar......

Gurleen : uncle, I have taken the decision after a lot of discussion with the highly experienced doctors.

Ram : (defeatedly) jaisa tujhe thik lage puttar .

Gurleen : (assuring him) uncle I am doing it for aunty and Aarohi's betterment . And waise bhi we are trying to find more about her past life .

Ram : tu sahi keh rahi hai gul . But what will happen to Priya if she got to know the truth or Aarohi gained her memory . My Priya will again become lifeless . I can't see her like that  gul.

Gurleen : tab ki tab dekhenge uncle and you can take her home tomorrow . All her reports are normal. (happily)

Ram : (excitedly ) sachh.

Gurleen : muchh, uncle but she needs to take bed rest for 2 days and will need to use wheelchair kyunki uski body ekdum se itna  exert nahi kar sakti.

Ram : I will take care of that puttar. Chal mai formalities puri kerke aata hun discharge ki .

Gurleen : ji uncle .

Ram left to complete discharge formalities. Whereas Priya and biji were busy preparing for aarohi's arrival.

Next day

Aarohi was wearing a simple cotton knee length dress with her hair braided and her face devoid of any makeup  but had a serene smile watching her dadaa are tying her shoe laces .

Ram : done (happily) chalen puttar ?

Aarohi nodded her head. Ram picked Aarohi in his arms and took her to the car . While gurleen - Rohit  were following them.
Ram kept Aarohi in the back seat whereas Rohit sat on the driver seat with  gurleen on the passenger seat . Ram sat beside Aarohi meanwhile Aarohi kept her head on Ram's chest, listening to her father's heartbeat which acted as a lullaby to her , in no time she fell asleep with a smile on her face. Ram was caressing her hair which brought a smile on rohit and gurleen's face.
