The weird feeling in your gut didn't seem to fade as you made your way to the cinema hall in which your short film would be showing in less than thirty minutes. You shrugged it off as nerves, even though you knew better than that.

There was simply no time to overthink everything at the last minute. You reminded yourself of the reasons you decided to not be their friend, and took yet another sip of your water, hoping it would make you feel more at ease.

Everything else was going according to plan, with the rest of the crew walking barely a few feet behind you, including Bella. It felt sort of safe, knowing all of the people behind you had trusted you with this project, letting you do whatever you thought needed to be done during their time on set.

It was all new to you too, which you sometimes forgot since the weight of being the director and producer of the short film was quite heavy. What had that fragment of a moment meant though? No, you had to stop overthinking it all at once, and focus on what truly mattered.

But then your eyes met theirs as you glanced behind you, and suddenly you were nothing more than helpless. With a weird and fuzzy feeling you entered the cinema hall, mentally preparing to have a speech in front of dozens of people you didn't know.

Somehow you couldn't stop smiling, something about tonight just made you feel happier than ever. Paulie guides you to the small space in front of the gigantic screen, and someone else hands you a microphone that's far heavier than it looks.

The cast stood beside you as you took in the amount of people filling all of the seats, excluding the front row, which was reserved for you and those who stood next to you. Before speaking up and starting your well rehearsed speech, you let your eyes wander over each of the actors beside you, unconsiously letting them linger a little too long at the sight of Bella.

The beating of your heart began to grow faster, and your cheeks flushed as they shot you the smile you had missed for so long. One deep breath in, and the speech began.

Applause filled your ears as you were instructed to stand up, waving back at all the people who just watched your short film. Some with tears in their eyes, instantly filling you with an extra dose of emotions.

This was it. The moment you had been anticipating for months, years even. Still, your first instinct was to look at the brown eyed actor who was surprisingly already looking at you. With something that could now only be described as butterflies in your stomach, you smiled at them again.
