Meeting With Danzo

Ayanokoji met with Danzo at his base of operations.

Danzo: Your efficiency and speed with which you handled the invasion was astounding. It also appears your judgement is good as well given the fact you've decided to set an in-term Hokage while you mature.

Ayanokoji: I'm sure you didn't ask for me simply to praise me so what exactly did you call me here for Danzo?

Danzo- No honorific? He was much politer as a child. How disappointing.

Danzo: I think I would be a good fit to serve in term while you train.

Ayanokoji: That won't be happening.

Danzo: I have heard you asked The Slug Princess Tsunade but she's an alcoholic and a gambler. Hardly someone who should be given the seat even if only temporarily.

Ayanokoji: Tsunade-Sama is the granddaughter of the First Hokage so you may want to hold your tongue before insulting her Shimura Danzo.

Danzo tcchs.

Ayanokoji: I will admit she's not the best fit for the position. You are definitely more qualified and more disciplined giving you a better chance at running the village effectively.

Danzo: Then...

Ayanokoji: However, you have had many shady deals in the past and your ambition is not to protect the village but for that of the title and the power it lends you. That mindset will be the ruin of this great village our forefathers built so I won't allow you to take the position for yourself.

Danzo: You have no idea the forces you're messing with boy.

Ayanokoji: If I were you I wouldn't be such a fool as to threaten your Hokage that can brand you a traitor and rogue ninja with little effort.

Danzo: You're bluffing.

Ayanokoji: I already know of your attempted assassination of Lord Third.

Danzo's eyes widen

Ayanokoji: If those records were brought to light no one would bat an eye to hunting you down putting you down like a dog.

Danzo is left speechless as sweat falls down his forehead.

Ayanokoji: I know you're a valuable asset to this village but if I learn of you causing more trouble than benefit to the village then I'll have you executed.

Danzo- This damn brat!

Ayanokoji leaves.

The Hospital

Ayanokoji pays a visit to Lee who was being visited by Guy.

Lee: Oh. Hokage-Sama.

Guy: Welcome Hokage-Sama.

Lee bows respectfully.

Ayanokoji: Lee you were severely injured in your fight against Garra in the Preliminaries. Given your ability as a Shinobi that is quite the waste. I have brought someone who can take a look at your injuries. If we're lucky your career as a Shinobi won't end here.

Guy: You're not lying right?

Ayanokoji: It's the truth.

Lee cries tears of joy at the news.
