Hidden Rain Village
Jiraiya enters the Hidden Rain Village when he feels something.
Jiraiya- What the!? This barrier. It prevents almost all teleportation Ninjutsu. A countermeasure for Naruto huh? Though Summoning Jutsu remains usable. Why though?
Jiraiya walked through the Hidden Rain Village observing the surroundings.
Jiraiya- Hmm... this place hasn't recovered much since back then. Not much at all.
Jiraiya then eventually came into confrontation with Konan and the Animal Path. Jiraiya dodges a rain of paper cranes.
Jiraiya: Konan. So you really were alive. And you. Though your face has changed a lot you're Nagato. Where is Yahiko?
Pain: No need to ask so many questions. You'll be dead soon anyway Sensei.
Jiraiya: What happened to you Nagato?
Pain: Nothing happened. Nothing at all.
Jiraiya- His village. Nothing has improved. Is that what he means?
The Pains gather all attacking Jiraiya who fends them off while looking for the answer.
Jiraiya- I have to find out their weakness. One Summons animals, the other absorbs Chakra and the last one uses some kind of mechanical arsenal but why? Why are there three Rinnegan Users?
Jiraiya continues fighting them as he manages to trap the Animal Path and kill it.
Fukusaku: it's time to head back to the Leaf Jiraiya-Boy.
Jiraiya: No. There's still a question left to be answered. What is the truth? That answer alone is worth more than my...
[Jiraiya: Haha. Are you worried about me?
Ayanokoji: A little. That's why I gave you that Kunai. Remember you are more valuable than any piece of information.]
Jiraiya smiles.
Jiraiya: Honestly. You could probably figure it all out yourself if I told you everything couldn't you?
Fukusaku: Hm? No probably not.
Jiraiya: I was talking about Naruto.
Fukusaku: Oh I've heard good things about him. The strongest of the Kage at 15 years old. He must be quite the genius.
Jiraiya: It's time to go home.
Jiraiya slams his hand into the ground.
Jiraiya: Reverse Summoning Jutsu!
Jiraiya teleports to Mount Myoboku and then back to the Leaf.

Jiraiya returns heading to the Hokage's Office.
Jiraiya: Let me through.
Guard: There's no point. Hokage-Sama isn't here today. He's out on a mission.
Jiraiya: A mission?
Guard: Though it's top secret he said you're privy to the information Jiraiya-Sama. He's hunting Uchiha Itachi and his partner.
