Alex's Point of View

Our free period flew by and the next thing I knew it was time for our next class to start. I started to get out my things when I saw that there was a notebook that I don't believe is mine. I pick it up and flip through it to see that there was notes from the morning classes that I slept through. I look to my side to see Jamie sitting there chewing on the straw in her mouth, I don't think this is hers, but it doesn't have a name it it.

I slip it in my bag, I'll give it back tomorrow when I find the owner of this notebook. I then went back to setting my desk for next period. The bell rang when I was done, and I flipped to a fresh page to get started.

As the lesson started, I could tell from the corner of my eye that Jamie wasn't too much of a fan of history as there was just doodles and some half notes that was scattered on the pages. She then leaned back in her chair, sighing before looking over at me, I jumped in surprise before looking back down at my notebook as I caught up slightly with the notes that was on the board.

As I scribbled down notes, I saw from the corner of my eye to see a small piece of paper sliding onto my desk. I look at it for a moment before putting down my pencil and picking up the piece of paper. It asked if I wanted to hang out after school, I let out a frown, I would, but Lily wouldn't like that. I picked up my pencil intending to write down 'no', but my hand wrote down 'yes' instead.

I stare at my mistake before acting like that was the answer that was intended before putting the note down and going back to listening to the lesson

Jamie's Point of View

I saw that Alex wrote something down on the note, I slipped the note back onto my desk and opened it. I let out a slight smile as I saw that she agreed to hang out after school. Not only will this have her get away from her weird and controlling girlfriend, but she will know that there are other options out there other than her.

And I will get more information on her. This will be really easy if I can get her away from that other one long enough. But, we need to get passed the acquaintance stage of this relationship. Slowly getting her out more, making her revert back to how she was, and make her mine.

My eyes fixated on my desk for a moment to realize that this project is going to be much more time inducing, and expensive than the others that I have done so far. I looked at the girl next to me from the corner of my eye, I let out a sigh as I leaned back in my chair, this is probably going to be one of the ones for the wall.

Alex's Point of View

There was only one period that separates out break to our lunch. I let out a sigh as I packed up my things and cleaned off my desk. I wasn't too hungry for a whole meal, but I can eat a snack and have a drink.

"Princess~" A voice cooed behind me, making me jump in surprise and my body immediately filled with dread.

I slowly looked behind me to see Lily standing behind me smiling while her hands behind her back.

"Hey.. Lily..." I say nervously. Did she see me and Jamie exchange notes? Is she mad?

"Let's eat lunch together, I brought you your favorite!" She beamed happily as she showed me a three tier lunch box.

My heart sinks as I saw the boxed lunch that she had brought me. Lily does all of the cooking for the both of us, so I don't really know what she is cooking all of the time, since, I'm in my room mostly. She says it is for her to protect me, to make sure that I don't get hurt, and to make sure that she knows where I am always.

But I already agreed to go to lunch with Jamie, and to go out with her after school to hang out. I don't want to go back on my word, and I might be lose a friend because if that happens, and I don't want that.

"Hey, Alex, you ready to go to lunch?" Jamie said as she walked over to the two of us.

My eyes lit up in relief as I looked over to my side. She had a sucker in her mouth while holding a bag. They looked at the two of us before narrowing her eyes.

"You really going to eat all of that?" She asked Lily as she pointed to the lunch box with the stick of the sucker.

I turned my head back to Lily as she let out a scoff and rolled her eyes. "Of course not, I will be sharing this with my Alexander." She said in a smug tone.

Jamie then looked over to me, "Alex." She said which made me look over at her, "Are you hungry enough to eat all that?" She asked as she pointed to the boxed lunch.

My eyes widened as I heard her question. My eyes fell to the floor as I felt both pairs of eyes on me, it made my cheeks grow hot in embarrassment.

"S..Sorry Lily, but Jamie has already asked me to eat lunch with her. And I don't want to go back on my word.." I said in a rather shaky tone. I could feel Lily's eyes burn into my skull, and she isn't happy.

"You hear that?" Jamie asked as she slung her arm over my shoulders, making me jump surprise. "She's going to have lunch with me. Don't worry, I'll keep her safe." She said as she winked at me, making me blush and look away from her.

"Alex.. you really.. is going to choose her over me? Your girlfriend?" Lily said in a hurt tone. My eyes widened out of fear as I looked up to see a hurt expression on her face, but her eyes was imbued with rage. 

I looked away from her and in that same moment I was pulled into Jamie's body closer. My eyes widened as I look up at her to see a smug look on her face before looking down at me with a smile on her face.

"Come on, I want to show you something." She said as she pulled me by my wrist, out of the classroom and down the hall. Her grip was soft, but firm. I walk behind her slightly as she held my wrist.

She lead me though several hallways, and walking up the stairs before reaching the rooftop.

"This place is always vacant since no one knows that they don't lock the roof during school hours." Jamie said as she let go of my wrist and walked to the door, fiddling with the door handle for a moment before opening it.

"After you." She said as she moved out of the way.

I walk out onto the roof to see that it completely clean, and there was a bench next to the doors that had moss, grass, and flowers growing only one part.

"You wanna eat now?" Jamie asked as she let out a slight smile and held up the bag filled with drinks and snacks.
