Alex's Point of View

----------------------------------

I lead the way to my-or rather, Lily's house. Since I don't know where she put my key in her house, I can't go back home. I chewed on the skin on my bottom lip behind my scarf as that same dreadful feeling in my stomach overflowed my body again. Why did she feel the need to hide it from me? Why would she hide it from me?

I snapped out of my overflowing thoughts when I was tapped on my shoulder. I jumped in surprise as I looked up at Jamie who had a slightly and combined look of confusion and amusement on their face.

"Which way?" They asked me.

I pause for a moment as I tried to digest her words, but I couldn't register what she just said.

"Sorry... What?" I ask.

She looked at me for a moment before pointing to the intersection of roads and sidewalks, "Which way is your house?" She asked me.

"Oh... Oh!" I exclaim as I slapped my forehead. So stupid, I was so caught up in my own head that I forgot where we were heading.

"We take a right..." I say softly, my cheeks and ears burning with embarrassment.

Jamie nodded and we continued to walk, the tension in the air between us was palble. I look over at Jamie, and I saw such a carefree look on her face, I guess she isn't as bothered with the silence as I am.

I look forward as I saw Lily's house a couple of blocks away from us, I then point it out.

"That's Lily's house.." I say as I walk towards it.

I was a couple steps ahead as I walk to the front door and opened it with a spare key that Lily has given me. I then pushed opened the door to let Jamie inside.

"Please.. Come inside while you wait." I say as I gesture her to come in.

They tine nodded her head and stepped inside, "Thanks for having me."

I then walked in and closed the door behind me, locking in just in case as I slip off my shoes. I then put down my school bag agents the back of the couch as I fidget on what I should do now as I watched Jamie look around the living room.

"Is... Is there something that I can get you?" I ask them which made her turn her attention to me, "Like a drink, or a snack?"

They then shook her head and let out a smile.

"I'm good, I'll get something at the theater. You can just go and get ready." She said as she put her hands in her pockets.

I fidgeted for a couple of moment as I tried to insisted to get something for her, but she insisted on me getting ready. And I don't want to disappointed her, so I went upstairs and went to my room to get ready.

Jamie's Point of View

----------------------------------

I watched her go upstiards adn I heard a door close, which I assume she's in her room. After I knew that Alexander was away from harm, I started to really started to snoop around. I have my switch blade in the inside of my coat, and a taser in tehre too. So I won't being going down without a fight if Lily tries to do anything.

And there is only one thing that I want to check out, and that is her basement. Why you ask? That's because that's where everyone keeps the things that they don't want to be brought to the light, a literal skeleton closet if you will.

I step in front of the opened door of descending stairs in front of me. I just want to know what kind of secrets that are so horrible, that she has to put on an enterally different persona in front of her partner. What needs to be in the dark to the point that two detectives, an eighteen year old and a student has gone missing in the past six months, from this household.

What is so important that you have to lock up your lover all day every day?

I want to know, I want to show her, to show the world that you are a manipulator, a kidnapper, and a killer.

I then stared to decent down the stairs. The air down in the basement is still and stale. There was a large leather couch, a gaming console setup with a flat screen, a gaming chair, and a mini fridge. DIspite looking like it was lived in, it looks weirdly steral.

It was like it was on display at a museum or something, there was a slight eeriness to it, to the entire basement actually. It was too clean in here.

I wandered around a little bit, and every single surface down here is all clean, clean to the point where there is not even a speck of dust or dirt down here. This wouldn't be a problem if she was just a clean freak, but the first floor of the house was even more messy and dirty than down here. There was even a thin layer of dust on all of the counters up there.

Right before I was basically done snooping around and was about ready to go back upstairs, there was something that caught my eye. A wall.. Well, to be more specific there was this fake wall that was made to look like the wall of the foundation down here.

Now that, is suspicious.

I walk over to the wall and tilted my head, looking at it. After a moment I reached out and touched it. It felt light-weight, I blink before pushing it to the side, and suddenly a waft of rotten, sewing like stench coming from it, stinging my nose as I tried to choke down a gag.

The stench made me stumble back as as bile started to travel up my throat. What... what the hell?

I choke down the bile as I tried to breath through my mouth, but that was just even worse experience. But I did try and get closer, inching myself closer and closer to the small space, the stench of corpses and chemicals filled my nostrils. I looked down to see a hole in the concrete, I lean down slightly to realize that is where the stench is coming from, and probably where the corpses are being held.

My body froze when I felt my stomach started to bubble and I started to dry heave. I put back the wall and ran upstairs to the nearest bathroom and emptied my guts into the toilet.

In that same moment I heard loud and quick footsteps running down the stairs and towards my location. I lift my head up to see Alexander wearing a pink and white skirt and sweater with matching socks, I let out a weary smile.

"You look amazing..." I said in a exhausted tone, but the smell of bile made me threw up again which made her come over towards me and hold my hair back as I continued to empty out my insides.

"Are you okay? Are you sick? Do you need to go to the doctor?" Alexander asked quickly, her voice full of concern.

"I'm fine princess... Just... Saw something that upset my stomach." I say as I let out a sigh as wiped the bile from my chin.
