Alex's Point of View

----------------------------------

Jamie sits next to me as she puts down the bag in between us. She put a chocolate milk, and a egg salad sandwich in my lap. "Here you go." She said as she gave me a smile.

I take it, "Thank you..." I say softly as I take the food and drink away from her, I look down at it for a moment before putting the milk next to me as I opened up the package of my sandwich.

I took a small bite of the sandwich before my eyes lighting up, this is really good. I continued to eat as I felt eyes on me, but, right now, I didn't care.

As I reach for another slice of the sandwich before realizing to see that I already ate the two of them. What? Already? How?

I hear a snicker from beside me, I look over to see Jamie trying to hold back her laughter as she gripped her unopened box of strawberry milk. I let out a slight frown as I look at her.

"What's so funny?" I ask which made her burst out laughing which made the frown on my face deepened.

"Sorry Princess, but you look so adorable realizing that you finished your sandwich." She said as she tried to held in her laughter, "It was like something out of some K-drama, adorable!" She said as she burst out into laughter again.

I let out a huff as I crossed my arms across my chest as I look away from her. It wasn't that funny. I could hear Jamie trying to calm down for a moment just for her to burst out laughing again. This lasted several moments before touching my shoulder. I look back to see Jamie looking at me with a smile on her face as she looked at me.

"I'm sorry for laughing at you." She apologized to me, "Are you still hungry? You want me to get you another sandwich?" She asked.

My eyes widened as I turned my body to them as I shook my head, "N..no you don't have to do that for me.." I say worriedly.

They just shook her head as she took her hand into mine as she stood up, pulling me up with her.

"I want to, let me do this for you." She said gently as she let out a smile before guiding me back into the building as we went back to the school store that was in the cafeteria. As we walked my stomach grew queasy as eyes were on the both of us, most of them was curiousness, others just stared as we walked passed. Both made me anxious.

I looked down as I gripped the carton of milk in my hand as we walked, incoherent whispers all around us clouded my brain. My legs grew heavy like lead, my breathing grew short and shallow, and my heart rate grew rapidly. As if it was banging agents my chest. I let out a quiet whimper as I pull my scarf up towards my mouth.

Jamie's Point of View

----------------------------------

I hear a quiet whimper from behind me, I look over as I slowed down my walking as I looked over my shoulder to see Alex looking down at the floor as her face looked a little pale. I then look around us to see people staring and possibly talking about us. My mouth opened slightly as I realized that she's anxious. Is she anxious because of the people staring at her, or is it the talking, or is it both.

I think it's both as I stop walking, making her bump into me slightly. "What's going on, why did you stop walking?" Alex asked me.

I don't turn to her for a moment before taking in a breath and giving her a smile as I looked at her.

"Sorry, I thought I saw a puddle." I say before starting to walk again, this time, I pulled Alex in next to me.

I look over to the side of me to see Alex hiding her face with her scarf, she's adorable, but, I need her to be less anxious. I look forward before speaking.

"You don't like large crowds or something?" I ask.

"A little bit... I don't really get out much.. where people are I mean." She says in a soft voice, I can partially hear her behind her scarf, and from the loud noises of the hallway.

"Do you not go out with Lily all the time?" I ask as I look at her from the corner of my eye, her eyes widened before looking down at the ground in a rather sad manner.

"No.. Um we never done anything like that.." She said in a sad manner.

My eyes widened before narrowing in suspicion.

"Really? And you two are together or something?" I ask.

Blush slowly formed on her cheeks as she lifted her scarf higher up on her face as she nodded her head, "She's my girlfriend." She said quietly.

I let out a scoff as I looked ahead and continued to walk down the hall, "Some girlfriend she is..." I mumble under my breath.

Lily's Point of View

----------------------------------

I watch as both Alex and Jamie walking side to side together, and I could see that they were also holding hands. I grip my hands into a tight ball as I look at the two of them with burning anger. What's so special about that transfer student? She's only been here for a couple of days and she's already closer to Alex than I was from this last year.

I clenched my jaw as I walk back to my desk, I can already feel like I was losing my girlfriend. I need to get her back. What am I doing wrong? I need to know so I can keep Alex by my side.

I bite my thumb, my body tensing. Why can't her gaze just be on me? Why do everyone keep on getting in my way??

Alex's Point of View

----------------------------------

Me and Jamie reach the cafeteria, most of the school having lunch in here and in the courtyard, and it was the loudest part of the school at this time. I was guided into the store shops to where the small walls was filled with school supplies, snacks, and other mundane stuff while the register was filled with stickers and papers scattered about. And behind it there was a fridge and a freezer.

Jamie pulled away from me which made my body immediately fill with fear. I grip the hem of her shirt as I walk behind her as she ordered something that I couldn't quite make out. I shuffle closer to her as more people filed in and stood in line behind me.

I didn't notice this before, but Jamie's body was taller than me, and much more athletic, her shaggy brown hair and her cold yellow eyes are a stark contrast to Lily's bright pink hair and bright yellow cat eyes.

I let out a slight gasp as I was bumped into her by a small group of male students which made me bump into Jamie, her catching me in her arms.

"Watch it!" She said in a annoyed voice, almost like a growl.

I look up to see Jamie glaring at the group of boys which made them falter slightly. My eyes widened slightly, since I don't really go outside since my injury, Lily never protected me like this. It made my chest warm, what is this feeling?
