With tears in your eyes, you watched Lia take her seat in between you and Yeji.

Today is a big day for ITZY - not just because it's the fifth MIDZY anniversary but also because it's the day Lia is finally returning.

It's the first glimpse the rest of the world will catch of her in ten months and you just know that so many hearts around the world are about to burst from excitement and love for her.

You, of course, have had the privilege of seeing her during her hiatus, as have the other members.

But it's different for you since you and Lia have been dating behind closed doors with only the girls knowing.

You can't help but stare at her as you admire how incredibly beautiful she looks.

She's always taken your breath away but her short hair is something so new and different and you're so in love.

But that's not the only thing to have taken your breath away.

So has how much happier and healthier she is now compared to before her hiatus.

You've seen how much she's been through and even though it wasn't easy to take these last several months away, it was necessary and you're so incredibly happy for her that she feels better now.

Lost in your thoughts, you didn't even realize how carried away you'd gotten until Ryujin tapped your arm.

"Y/N,"

"Hm?" You spoke as you looked at her.

She nodded to the camera and all of the MIDZY's watching and you just shook your head with a smile before trying to play it off as being lost in your head and being overjoyed that Lia is back.

"Sorry, I zoned out there. I'm just so happy that Lia is back!"

Lia looked at you and you caught the loving look in her starry eyes, though she only let you see it.

"Hi, MIDZY!" Lia smiled as she stared into the camera. "Thank you for waiting so patiently for me to return and for continuing to support ITZY. I've missed you all and I'm so happy to return."

You leaned over to hug her and she laughed happily before hugging you back.

It felt like you were home again.

Here with your girlfriend and four closest friends, it felt like everything was right.

It meant everything to you and brought a flutter to your heart.

"We've all missed you!" Yuna said from a few seats away.

"ITZY is back." Ryujin smiled.

The rest of the livestream was a bit of a blur.

You listened to everything the girls said and teared up all over again when Lia made her little speech.

You made one too, though you struggled to find the words to say to express just how grateful you were for MIDZY and ITZY.

After stumbling over your words a little, you thanked all of MIDZY for making your dreams come true and for being the most supportive and loyal fans in the world.

It was a little while later when the live was over and once it was, you took Lia's hand and led her across the room.

"We have to take some pictures in a few minutes!" Yeji said.

"Okay," You replied before putting your arms around Lia's neck.

"Is everything okay?" She asked as she brushed her fingers across your back.

"Yeah." You smiled. "More than okay. Everything's perfect. It just doesn't feel real that you're back."

"Well, it is. And I'm so happy that I am." She said as she gazed into your eyes. "I needed that time away to care for my mental health but there's no better feeling than being with my girlfriend and best friends. Living out our dreams together. It's amazing."

"You look so pretty with your short hair." You complimented and brushed your fingers through her short locks. "I love you."

"I love you too."

You leaned in and kissed her lips softly, causing her to smile again.

"It's good to be back."
