A whine escaped from Lia's lips at the sound of her alarm going off and interrupting her deep and peaceful sleep.

She grabbed her phone and turned it off before she went to reach for you only to feel that you weren't there beside her.

"Y/N?" She said as she sat up and looked around the room for you.

The bathroom light was on so she figured that's where you had to be.

Her mind didn't wander whatsoever, she just figured you were using the bathroom or brushing your teeth.

But when she sat up and pushed the blankets away, she heard you coughing from inside the bathroom.

"Baby?"

She got out of bed, her bare feet padding across the floor as she made her way to the door.

But when she heard you cough again, this time she heard you gag as well.

She opened the door and saw you on the floor in front of the toilet, vomiting as you held your hair back with your shaky fingers.

"Oh, baby," She said before she rushed over and sat behind you. "It's okay, I've got you."

She gently took your hair in her hands and began to comfort you.

Her heart dropped a little more and a little deeper in her chest every time you gagged.

It was agonizing and uncomfortable and all you wanted was for it to be over already though it seemed to drag on as your stomach ached terribly.

"It's alright, baby. I'm here." She soothed when you whined after a few seconds of a break, only to throw up again.

It almost seemed as though it was never going to end.

But after a few minutes, your stomach seemed to calm down a little.

"How long were you sick before I came in here?"

"I was in here for about fifteen minutes but I laid on the floor for a few minutes. I was so hot and the tiles felt so nice and cool." You explained.

When you turned around, Lia placed her hand on your forehead and felt just how warm you were.

"You're warm. Not burning up, just a little fever, I think. But you still need to get back into bed and get some rest."

"I will." You said as you got up from the floor.

But your knees shook a little because you were so drained of energy and she wrapped her arms around you instinctively.

"I promise I'll try to update you throughout the day about how I feel and how I'm doing."

"You don't need to do that because I'm not going in today. I'm staying home with you."

You shook your head at her as she helped you into bed.

"No, Lia, you can't do that. You have to go in. The girls need you. You just got back from your hiatus and I don't want you to get in trouble."

"Trust me, I won't." She assured as she sat down beside you. "The girls will understand and no one is going to get upset. Besides, even if anyone was going to get upset, it wouldn't change my mind. My girl is sick and I'm staying with her."

She gently pinched your cheek and you cracked a smile in response.

"I'll text Yeji in a minute but I just want to make sure you're okay. How do you feel? Are you nauseous at all?"

"A little but not bad and not like before. I don't think I'm going to throw up again, at least not right now."

"That's good. I want to check your temperature. I'll be right back with the thermometer. Do you need anything?" She asked as she gently brushed her fingers through your messy hair.

"I need some water."

"Okay, I'll get you some. Are you hungry at all? How about some soup? Or some crackers?"

"I'm not hungry right now. In a while, maybe."

She nodded wordlessly and kissed your head before getting up and going to the bathroom to grab the thermometer.

Opening the medicine cabinet, she found it right by ome medication that would bring your fever down and she quickly grabbed them both.

She walked out of the bathroom and set the medicine and thermometer on your nightstand before promising she'd be right back.

Heading downstairs, she grabbed a glass of water for you before heading back up the stairs to see you had the thermometer in your mouth already.

She set the water on the nightstand before parting her lips to ask if it was already high but it went off a second later and you handed it to her, hr question being answered right away.

"100.8. So not too bad but it's getting up there. Hopefully, this will help bring it down."

She handed you a couple of the tablets from the bottle of medicine and when you put the pills in your mouth, she brought the glass of water up to your lips.

You took a few sips as she held it for you since your fingers were still shaky and when you were done, she placed the glass back on the table.

She moved the empty trash can a little closer just in case you were to get sick again.

As she went back to her side of the bed and grabbed her phone to text Yeji, you whined.

Lia turned her head and saw you shivering.

"Do you have the chills, my love?"

You nodded tiredly.

She got back up to cover you up and make sure you were nice and warm.

"Better?"

"Much better. Thank you."

'You're welcome, baby," She said with a little smile and sat back down to try and text Yeji again.

"Hey, Yeji. I'm sorry but I can't make it to practice today. Y/N's throwing up and seems pretty sick. I'm worried about her and I want to stay home to keep an eye on her. I'll try to come in tomorrow though. Have a good day."

She hit send and started to talk to you.

"Okay, I texted Yeji that I'm not coming in. I'm sure she'll text me back in a minute. Do you need anything else?"

She looked at you before chuckling to herself as she realized that you didn't hear a word she had just said because you were sound asleep.

She leaned in and left a soft kiss against your forehead.

"Get some rest, baby. I'm right here if you need anything at all. I love you very much." She whispered before she listened to you breathe and watched you sleep soundly.

As she ran her fingers through your hair and watched your eyelashes flutter against your cheeks while you slept, her phone chimed.

She reached for it and saw that Yeji had texted back already.

"That's fine, we understand! Tell Y/N we hope she feels better and that we love her. Focus on taking care of your girl and get some rest and we'll see you tomorrow."

Lia thanked her before setting her phone down with no intention of picking it back up for a while.

All she planned to do today was care for you and maybe get a little rest too.

But you're her priority and all she can do is hope that as the day goes on, you'll feel better because she hates seeing you feel so sick when she loves you so much.
