Kendell, Mia, Star and Solana was all in the car with Mia's new boyfriend, Mateo.
Everyone took a quick liking to him but the same can't be said about Kendell, since Kendell knew Mia the longest, he knew all about the boyfriends and Mia's type, Mia has been through so much with verbal abuse and physical abuse, he would hate for his friend to go through that again.
From the looks of it, the two seem quite happy, like they're in their own little world together, much like him and Catéo.

The group arrived at the mall, with Mia and Mateo taking the lead, Star, Solana and Kendell falling behind them.
Kendell decides he wanted to find more makeup for him to stock on and get some shoes, Solana and Star follow behind him, Solana also needed some more makeup and... well star just followed solana because they're dating.
Star finds Kendell looking highlighters and approaches, "Sooooo... How do you feel about Mateo, you barely talked in the car." Star asked as she picks up a highlighter by Fenty, star had absolutely no clue what she's looking at, all she know is that Fenty was made by Rihanna.
Kendell stops for a moment, to collect his thoughts, "well.. he's alright, I just don't want him to hurt Mia, but if he does... so help him god."
Solana joined them, holding a couple of new lipsticks. "sooo what's the deal with mateo, how we feel?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I just want Mia to be happy and if Mateo makes her happy, I have no ill will to him, but if he does hurt her, it'll be the last thing he'll ever do." Kendell said, as he finally finds the highlighter he was looking for.
"Imma go down to the foot locker, wanna come with Sol?" Star asked as she reaches her hand out for Solana to grab, "Yeah, i'm coming."

Kendell walked out the final store he was in, which was gamestop, he made sure he was gonna buy Catéo that new Madden 25 game.
Kendell walked towards the food court and he saw Star, Solana and Mia sat already talking and chatting about.
"Heey girls," Kendell called out as he approached the table. The three looked up and greeted him with big smiles.
"Hey, Ken! Finally decided to join us?" Mia teased.
"Yeah, had to get Catéo something he's been dying for, He has legit been talking about it non-stop," Kendell said, placing the bag on the floor and taking a seat in between Star and Solana.
"See you know how to treat a mannnn, I know that's right." Mia said, raising her drink in the air.
The conversation continues, "Oh, lemme get food real quick, i'll be back." With that, Kendell gets up and goes straight for chick fil a, one thing bout him... he gone tear DOWWWN chick fil a.
He approaches the line, he stands there and wait for a bit until someone comes up next to him, it's freaking Mateo..
Kendell couldn't help but feel a twinge of irritation. Out of all the places in the food court, Mateo had to show up right next to him. He took a deep breath, determined to keep it cool.
"Hey, Kendell," Mateo said with a friendly nod.
"Hey," Kendell replied, trying to muster a smile.
"Getting something for.....?" Mateo asked, glancing at the Gamestop bag.
"Oh, Yeah.. Just getting it for myyy... boyfriendd?" Kendell said, He didn't really think about what Him and Catéo's relationship was. "He's been talking about it nonstop."
"That's awesome. I'm sure he'll love it," Mateo responded, genuinely sounding interested.
As they moved forward in line, Kendell decided to give Mateo the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was just overprotective, and Mateo really was a good guy... Maybe.
"So, you and Mia seem pretty happy," Kendell said, trying to make small talk.
"Yeah, she's amazing," Mateo said, his face lighting up. "I really care about her."
Kendell's heart warmed up, he truly hasn't see any type of genuineness since Catéo.

The group left the mall with heavy laughter echoing through the parking lot. Kendell felt lighter, the weight of his worries about Mateo slowly dissipating.
"Oookay, so what's the plan now?" Solana asked, her arm linked with Star's.
"How about we grab some ice cream?" Mateo suggested, glancing at Mia for approval.
Mia's face lit up. "Yes! Ice cream sounds perfect."
They piled back into the car, and soon enough, they were on their way to the nearest ice cream shop.
When they arrived, they filed into the shop, They each took their time selecting their flavors, with Star and Solana playfully arguing over who got to taste what first.
Kendell watched as Mateo wrapped his arm around Mia's waist, pulling her close as they laughed over a shared scoop of cookie dough. It was a small moment, but it spoke volumes about the care and affection between them.
