Chapter 4

Lumagapak ang palad niya sa pisngi ni Mc.

"How dare you, Mc!" Her voice trembled. She tried to wipe the trace of his kiss on her lips. Her eyes clouded in tears. Naiiyak siya dahil pinaglalaruan siya nito.

Naglakad siya paalis sa dalampasigan. Pinulot niya ang cover up at sinuot iyon.

"Now, it's my fault that you overtime? I told you, Thursday half day onwards is mine." Mc hissed while following her.

"Tell Simpson I'm breaking up with him. Fuck, I feel like I'm cheating on him! I'm not a cheater, Mc! You're...you're confusing me!" Iyak niya at pumasok sa cabin nila. Mc followed her.

He locked the door behind her. Kinuha niya ang maleta niya at pinasok lahat ng gamit.

"Can you calm down so we can talk? And you're not cheating! Basically, I'm your boyfriend, too---"

"My boyfriend is Simpson! Hindi ikaw!"

"Do you wanna hear the truth, Hershey? You don't want a boyfriend. You don't really love Simpson. You want intimacy. At kahit turuan mo si Simpson ng ilang beses, you will not be satisfied because I can only do that!" Mc hissed.

Natapos na niya ang paglilipit. Sinara niya ang maleta at nilapag sa sahig. She stared at him coldly.

"Tell Simpson I'm breaking up with him or I ghosted him. He deserves better. Gosh. You're fucking worse! Dinamay mo pa ako!" Inis niyang singhal dito at nilagpasan ito.

Mc held her arm. Kinuha nito ang t-shirt sa may upuan at sinuot sa kanya. Hindi na siya nakaangal dahil sa bilis ng galaw nito.

"You're almost naked, woman." Mc said coldly.

Napairap siya at tuluyan ng nilisan ang cabin nito. Bumalik siya ng reception at nag-check in sa hotel, may kalayuan sa cabin.

She stayed there for days crying. Uubusin niya ang luha niya para hindi siya halata pag-uwi. When she gets back in the Philippines, she doesn't have the strength to tell anyone that they're over. Kahit hindi niya sinabi sa pamilya niya, maliban kay Kuya Harvie na abala, nahahalata ng mga ito na may kung ano sa kanila ni Simpson. And she assumed they knew about his case, sa kanya or sa kanila lang ni Hermes hindi pinaalam.

Malapit ng ikasal ang Kuya Harvie niya. Naka-off pa rin ang phone niya. Natatakot siyang magkausap sila ni Simpson. And she hates Mc to the core!

She was looking for green things in the mall when she saw a familiar man. Agad siyang tumalikod at naglakad ng mabilis. She knew he was following her kaya halos tumakbo na siya. Natigil lang siya ng mahawakan siya nito sa braso.

Shit! It's Saturday!

"Hershey, wait. Let's talk..." Mc said.

"What?"

Mc sighed. Napataas siya ng kilay. Ano bang kailangan nito sa kanya? Lumayo na nga siya para hindi na masira ang plano nila ni Simpson na maging single na lang forever. Mahirap din kasi ang sitwasyon ng dalawa. What if they love two different women? Tapos iisa lang ang katawan nila. May masasaktan unless the two women are up for polygamy.

"I'm sorry..."

"Forgiven. I know you just want me to vanish from Simpson's life. You won." Sabi niya at muling pinagpatuloy ang paglalakad.

Mc blocked her way. She glared at him. He smiles at her apologetically.

"About that... I haven't told Simpson that you guys are over. He just thought you're very busy that's why you didn't see and contact him."

"What?! I told you to tell him!" She hissed.

Shit. So Simpson has been waiting for her? Dahil akala nito sila pa. Pero binilin niya kasi kay Mc na sabihin dito!
