"Y/N, look out!" Bucky shouted, but it was too late.

"Y/N!" Bucky rushed to their side, his voice thick with concern as he gently lowered them to the ground.

"Stay with me," Bucky urged, his hands applying pressure to the wound in a desperate attempt to stem the bleeding.

The Quinjet loomed ahead, a beacon of hope in the midst of uncertainty. Bucky's steps quickened, his heart racing with the urgency of their dire situation. He gently laid Y/N down inside the Quinjet, his hands trembling as he activated the medical bay.

"We're going to get you patched up," Bucky promised, his voice hoarse with emotion.

Y/N's breaths came shallow and ragged, their strength waning with each passing moment. Bucky worked frantically, applying field dressings and administering emergency medical treatments with practiced efficiency.

"Hang in there," Bucky pleaded, his hands shaking as he fought to keep Y/N stable.

Time stretched endlessly as Bucky battled against the inevitable. The Quinjet roared to life, hurtling through the night sky towards Avengers Tower, where help awaited.

But as they flew, Y/N felt themselves slipping further away, the echoes of pain and fear fading into an overwhelming sense of peace. Bucky's voice was a distant echo, his hands a comforting presence against their skin.

"I'm not losing you," Bucky whispered fiercely, his voice breaking with raw emotion.
