The atmosphere in the dining table was something that Taehyung hates so much.
Both Mr and Misses Jeon were observing everything. They know something is not right between these two boys. They can sense the tension between those two but they prefer to not say anything .
Jungkook was secretly glancing at taehyung. For him the atmosphere is awkward but more painful. The person who broke his heart, the person who just took him as a fuck body, the person who rejected him is in front of him.
He had thought to avoid Taehyung as much as he could. He will try to move on from him but seems like fate is not from his side.
Right now he just wanted to disappear from here. Somewhere where he doesn't have to see taehyung.
After eating dinner in the silence it was time for taehyung to leave.
"Well taehyung thank you so much for coming today and sorry for lying" Mr Jeon said with a apological look.
"It's okay uncle and thank for the dinner and by the way aunty the dinner was tasty" Misses Jeon gave her a beautiful smile in return and hugged taehyung taking him off guard.
Taehyung freezes in his place. He was shocked when Misses Jeon suddenly hugged him but soon he returned the hug back. It was the first time when taehyung let someone else hug him except his close ones. He hated skinship but today it was different he felt warm and motherly feeling from Misses Jeon.
After backing off from the hug Misses Jeon saw glossy eyes of taehyung.
"What happen dear? Did i do something wrong?" She asked with a worry filled voice.
Mr Jeon watches Taehyung in knowing. Jungkook also looked at him and felt pain in his heart seeing taehyung like this. But he replaced his pained face into a blank one.
"No! i-it's just i felt good when you hugged me, it's been while I didn't feel motherly warm that's why" Misses Jeon gives a warm smile to taehyung hearing that
"Oh! Come on taehyung don't worry you can always ask for the hug if you want, I'm also like a mother to you just like jungkook " taehyung don't know but he really feels glad coming here.
"Why don't you go and ask your mom for a hug " taehyung's smile dropped after hearing what jungkook said. Maybe it didn't hurt that much if it was some other person but it hurt more because it was jungkook who said that and the way Jungkook's tone sounded was harsh full.
"Jungkook what are you saying huh! Say sorry to taehyung right now" Mr shouted at Jungkook who just rolled his eyes before Turin his head to the other side.
" It's okay uncle... I'm leaving it's getting late anyway" Mr Jeon and Misses Jeon saw the sad expression of taehyung but didn't say anything. Jungkook knew the way he said it was harsh and hurtful but the pain he is feeling right now. he is not realising anything that what he is saying.
Without saying anything farther taehyung went from there.
"What the hall was that jungkook" Mr Jeon shouted at Jungkook after Taehyung left.
"What? Why are you shouting at me"
"Why did you say that to taehyung he— why the hall you have to say that huh! Do you even know how much your words hurt taehyung" Mr Jeon gives an angry gaze to him
" Dad don't you think you are shouting at me for him for a completely stranger person huh what.....what did I say wrong huh......he has his own parents then why should act like that facking his sorrows...... Dad believe me i know him better than anyone he is just a pathetic person what the hell is he thi——" before Jungkook can speak more a slap landed on his face. Misses Jeon widened her eyes looking at them.
Touching his face Jungkook looked at his father. Not in his whole life anyone has slapped him at least not his father. Chuckling at his father jungkook spoke
" Now for him he is more important than me right? You raised your hand just because of taehyung " jungkook said with a hurtful tone. No matter how much jungkook was stubborn or brat , beating anyone his father never raised his hand infect his father is like a friend to him.
" I never thought you will raise your hand just because of taehyung......dad you know i have love you more than mom but today y-you -"
" Jungkook you are my son but that doesn't mean you have any rights to say something like that to taehyung——" jungkook cut Mr Jeon before speaking
" Why? huh! It's not like I said something big or hurtful i jus——" Mr Jeon speak before Jungkook can say more
" It's was..... It was hurtful maybe not for you because you have us you have parents but for taehyung it was more than hurtful..... because taehyung doesn't have parents like you.....he don't have anyone to call mom and dad like you.
......he lost his parents when he was teenage...you are lucky jungkook because you have us whom you can call mom-dad with whom you can share your everything but Taehyung he doesn't have......you are lucky that you are born with silver spoon..... your life is too much better then taehyung......you should be happy your childhood is not like taehyung's jungkook......you know today I'm not angry from you but disappointed and ashamed i don't know i raised you teaching this ....... I'm angry at myself because children learn from there parents and i doesn't know th——" Mr Jeon just give a disappointed look before going from there to his room. Misses Jeon also went from there not before giving a disappointment look leaving nothing but a regretting jungkook.
People doesn't realise there mistakes untill they have nothing but to regret.
Jungkook stand there like a statue. He was hurt he was angry but the thing that he said today to taehyung was not he wanted say. Fuck he would never say something like that to taehyung.
But the anger of getting rejected, the anger of loving the person who doesn't feel the same make him do that.
Jungkook doesn't know before that taehyung doesn't have his parents. Remembering the words his father said he is indeed lucky.
Now he is regretting everything every fucking thing he said to taehyung today.
Wipping his tears jungkook went towards his room. Entering there he take his phone from his pocket and called taehyung. But Taehyung doesn't pick his call. He hald his hair in frustration and regret.
