3rd Person POV:
Mr. Incredible pulled up in front of the church having gone back to being Robert Parr. As his car went from being the Incredibile to being his normal car again. He rushed out of his car now wearing his tuxedo again, and into the church. Seeing his best friend Lucius Best, who was as his name suggested dressed in his best.
"Is the night still young?" Bob asked, smiling but still having his mask over his eyes.
"You're very late," Lucius told him.
"How do I look? Good?" he asked.
"Oh, the mask! You still got the mask!" Lucius said, taking Bob's mask off. He cracked his neck and smirked.
"Showtime!" he exclaimed before proceeding to enter the church.
Soon enough he was standing next to his soon to be wife, Helen Truax. Also known as the one and only Elastigirl. She stood at the altar in a lovely looking wedding dress, waiting for him as he approached the altar himself. Before the priest began officiating.
"Robert Parr, will you have this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" he asked.
"You're late. When you asked me if I was doing anything later, I didn't realize you'd actually forgotten. I thought it was playful banter," she whispered.
"It was playful banter," her soon-to-be husband reassured her, whispering as well.
"Cutting it kinda close, don't you think?" she asked.
"You need to be more flexible," he whispered, calling back to what she'd told him earlier.
"I love you, but if we're gonna make this work, you've gotta be more than Mr. Incredible. You know that. Don't you?" she asked, still whispering.
"...so long as you both shall live?" the priest asked.
"I do," Bob smiled.
"I pronounce this couple, husband and wife," the priest smiled, as Helen leapt into Bob's arms and kissed his lips, after receiving an applause from the guests Helen looked into his eyes smiling at him.
"As long as we both shall live. No matter what happens," she smiled at her now husband.
"Hey, come on. We're superheroes, what could happen?" Bob smiled at his now wife.
However, a few days later a news report was sent out to every citizen in Metroville. An image of the days headlines came on, saying Mr. Incredible was being sued, as more pictures of news clippings and images of Mr. Incredible came on screen.
"In a stunning turn of events, a superhero is being sued for saving someone who, apparently, didn't want to be saved. The plaintiff, Oliver Sansweet, who was foiled in his attempted suicide by Mr. Incredible, has filed suit against the famed superhero in Superior Court," the news reporter explained, as a video of Oliver Sansweet and his lawyer came on the tv screen.
"Mr. Sansweet didn't ask to be saved, Mr. Sansweet didn't want to be saved! And the injury received from Mr. Incredible's "action", so called, causes him daily pain," Oliver Sansweet's lawyer explained.
"Hey! I saved your life!" Mr. Incredible yelled at the guy suing him.
"You didn't save my life, you ruined my death!" Oliver yelled back.
"Listen you little piece of-" Mr. Incredible was cut off by his own lawyer.
"My client has no further comment," he said, as Mr. Incredible pushed his lawyer away from him.
"Five days later, another suit was filed by victims of the El Train accident. Incredible's court losses cost the government millions, and opened the floodgates for dozens of superhero lawsuits the world over," the news reporter said as drawings of the trial came across the screen and new newspaper headlines. Then a new video with the supreme court judge coming to her conclusion.
"It is time for their secret identities to become their only identity. Time for them to join us, or go away," she announced.
"Under tremendous public pressure, and the crushing financial burden of an ever mounting series of lawsuits, the government quietly initiated the superhero relocation program. The Supers will be granted amnesty from responsibility for past actions, in exchange for the promise to never again resume hero work," The news reporter explained. "Where are they now? They are living among us. Average citizens, average heroes. Quietly and anonymously continuing to make the world a better place," the news finished its broadcast as the report came to an end.
