The Parr family was sitting around their dinner table, well having dinner. Helen was busy feeding Jack-Jack, while making weird faces and sounds while Jack-Jack continued to spit out his food.
"Mom," Dash said to her.
"Uh-huh?" the lady responded to her older son.
"You're making weird faces again," Dash told her as she continued.
"Mmm... No, I'm not," she denied.
"You make weird faces, honey," Bob agreed with his son. Helen scowled at him, then she noticed he was reading the newspaper.
"Do you have to read at the table?" she asked.
"Uh-huh. Yeah," Bob said, not looking up. Helen suddenly noticed Dash biting at and pulling on his steak, without cutting it.
"Smaller bites, Dash. Yikes! Bob, can you help the carnivore carve his meat?" she asked him. Bob sighed and leaned over Dash's plate, starting to cut his meat.
"Dash, you have something you wanna tell your father about school today?" Helen asked her son.
"Uh, um, well, we dissected a frog," he said, nervously.
"Dash got sent to the office again," she told her husband.
"Good. Good," Bob said, while mindlessly slicing his son's steak.
"No Bob that's bad,"
"What?"
"Dash, got sent to the office again," Helen explained.
"What?! What for?"
"Nothing!" the boy denied.
"He put a tack on the teacher's chair, during class," Helen said.
"Nobody saw me. You could barely see it on tape," Dash muttered.
"They got you on tape and you still got away with it?" Bob questioned, starting to cut faster. "Whoa! You must've been booking. How fast do you think you were going?"
"Bob! We are not encouraging this," Helen interrupted.
"I'm not encouraging, I'm just asking how fast-" he objected, before his wife and daughter interrupted him.
"Honey!" Helen yelled.
"Dad!" Y/N yelled. Then there was a crack sound and they all looked down to see he'd sliced through the plate and made a dent in the table. Bob sighed and fell back in his chair.
"Great. First the car, now I gotta pay to fix the table-" Helen cut him off.
"The car? What happened to the car?" she asked. Bob stood up and handed over his plate to his son before leaving the table. Helen cleared her throat as she turned to her younger daughter.
"So how about you Vi? How was school?" she asked.
"Nothing to report," the girl said.
"You've hardly touched your food," her mother noted.
"I'm not hungry for meatloaf," she picked at the stuff on her plate. Y/N turned to Violet.
"Vi is something wrong?"
"No it's nothing,"
"Well, it is leftover night. We have steak, pasta. What are you hungry for?" Helen asked.
"Tony Rydinger," Dash teased the girl.
"Shut up," Violet hissed at him.
"Well you are," Dash retorted.
