From my room, I can hear Harry arguing with Ron and Hermione, I can hear Fred and George provoking each other, and I can hear Sirius talking to Lupin.
It's been a relatively normal conversation, minus the suggestive comments, but soon it turns into something a little more important, talking about how the Dark Lord is back or whatever, and then, get this.
Sirius says he thinks I might be getting influenced to join.
By who? Because he KNOWS it cant the Fred, or any of the other kids here, so who on Earth is he talking about??
I mean, does he know about Dante?
Dante DID try and make me join, but I didn't, and it was a big factor of why I broke up with him, bear in mind TWO YEARS AGO?
I keep listening for a while, until I hear my door open, and I sit up, putting my headphones on, to act unbothered, assuming that it's Mrs Weasley,
it's Fred.
'Oh, hey' I smile slightly at him 'I was just thinking.. about stuff'
He rolls his eyes 'The rest of us were by the stairs, using the Extendable Ear.' He starts 'we heard what your dad said' he shrugs, before walking over to hug me, mumbling as he buries his face in my hair 'but we know it's not true'
He kisses the top of my head, multiple times, before pulling me up, to stand in front of him, and he looks down at me, smiling as he takes in the height difference, for the billionth time since we got together.
'You're short, you know that?' He smiles, patting my head
'I'm 5'7, you're just.. TALL' I smile back, on my tiptoes to tap his head.
He swerves 'Is 6'3 THAT tall? I mean, I feel kinda average height' he shrugs, feigning indifference, as he adds 'I don't really pay attention to anyone else's height but mine and yours anymore'
'..we should ask Harry to keep an eye on her'
He's.. 2 years younger than me.. how is that fair?
..Does my own father think that lowly of me..?

The ride back to Hogwarts was painfully long, because Hermione and Ron were in the Prefects part of the train, which meant Harry was alone, and ended up with me, because Fred and George went on down to the 1st year compartments to 'do some business'.
So, I ended up with Harry, and Ginny, who invited Neville along, and then sat in a compartment with Loony LoveGood.
Okay, she isn't actually Loony
..
Am I sitting with 4th and 5th years??
