Days passed and Y/n's condition was getting better now. Her family were all there with her, especially Nischay. He was taking utmost care of her which made her smile and filled her heart with contentment.
She felt her heart beating for him but the sense of uncertainty and fear of abandonment was still there within her due to which she could not let herself feel that level of comfort with him which she should have been.
Nischay had come to know about it from some changes in between Y/n's behaviour but did not force himself onto her as she meant very much to him and he instinctively wanted to give her time to get herself at ease with him.
He did not ask for anything in return and continued looking after her with his selfless affection.
With time passing by, the initial awkwardness and closed off atmosphere between them started fading and the conversations of Y/n and Nischay also increased than before, each sharing about each other's day and listening to one another with patience and genuine interest.
One day, like the usual days, Nischay came inside Y/n's hospital room but with a slight different smile on his face.
Y/n: Kya baat hai Nischay? Itni khushi?
He sits beside her, taking her hands in his. "You are coming home Y/n!!"
Y/n (her eyes widen up in surprise): Kya sachhi?
Nish: Haa Y/n. Maine abhi just Dr se baat ki tumhare baare mein aur unhone kaha ke discharge papers ready hai.
Y/n: Toh der kis baat ki? Mujhe ghar ki bohot yaad aa rahi hai. Chalo jaldi.
Nish (chuckles): Haa haa chalo😆 In mind: Aur mujhe tumhari❤

Both of them go to the reception and fill up the discharge papers. Well mostly it was Nischay doing the paperwork but Y/n was there with him too.
