It was a bright morning with the shining sunrays falling on her face waking her up. She got up from the bed, fixed it and then headed towards the bathroom to get freshened up for the day as she had an important song recording today and it was a big project for her as well as a bigger opportunity to get recognized in the industry through her voice, her talent.
After approx 15-20 minutes, she was all ready and was combing her hair when her phone started ringing. It was her mother and she picked it up taking a deep sigh.
Y/m: Good morning beta, ভালে আছা না তুমি?
Translation: Tu thik hai beta?
Y/n: Good morning maa. Main thik hoon. Aap aur deuta kaise ho?
A/n: Deuta means father in Assamese.
Y/m: Hum dono ekdum mast hai. Bas teri shaadi ka intezaar kar rahe hai.
Y/n (sighs): Aap phir shuru hogaye maa?
Y/m: Woh sab chor aur sunn meri baat. Tujhe ek khush khabri deni thi☺
Y/n (rolls her eyes): Kaisi good news?😑
Y/m: Humein tere liye ek bohot achha rishta aaya hai beta. Delhi mein hi rehne wale hai aur tujhe ek aur baat bataun?
Y/n: Aur kya baat hai mujhe batane ko?
Y/m was about to respond when 'he' snatched the phone from her.
Y/n: Aap dono wahan hi ruko. Main aa rahi hoon pick-up karne.
Y/d: Thik hai beta.
The call gets disconnected and Y/n leaves from her house driving her car towards the airport to receive her parents while they were sitting inside the airport, waiting for their daughter.
Y/m: Ek baat kahoon aapse?
Y/d (smiles): Haa zaroor kahiye☺
Y/m: Hum Y/n ke liye kuch galat toh nahi kar rahe naa?
Y/d (holds her hand): Nahi ji. Yeh humari beti ke liye ekdum sahi faisla hai. Uski abhi shaadi ki age hogayi hai aur 'woh' Y/n ke liye ekdum perfect choice hai.
Y/m (smiles): Haa, aapne sahi kaha☺
Just then, Y/n arrived and immediately went towards her parents in a rush seeing them after quite a long time, hugging them tightly individually.
Y/n (hugs her mom): তোমাক বহুত মিছ কৰিলোঁ মা 🥺
Translation: Mujhe aapki bohot yaad aayi maa.
Y/m (hugs her back): Me too bachha🥺
Y/d: Aur mera kya? Meri yaad nahi aayi tujhe?😒
Y/n (hugs him): Ofcourse deuta🥺
Y/d (hugs her back): Haaye, meri gudiya🥺
Y/n: Abhi chale ghar?
Y/m: Haa haa beta, zaroor. Tera aaj koi recording hai naa kisi song ka?
Y/n: Haa maa, wohi bihu aa raha hai naa, toh ek bihu folk song ke liye mujhe bulaya gaya hai.
Y/d: Toh phir hum abhi chalte hai ghar warna tu late hojayegi.
Y/n (nods.)
The Goswamis soon reach home taking the service of Y/n's car and Y/n gets all ready to leave for the recording studio.

Y/m and Y/d settle themselves down and decide of taking some rest after a tiring journey after seeing Y/n off. Before leaving, she touches her parents' feet for their blessings.
Y/m (smiles and rests her hand on her cheek): Mera aashirwaad humesha tere saath hai beta☺
Y/d (smiles and hugs her): Jeeti raho meri gudiya, wishing you all the best☺❤
Y/m: All the very best, mera bachha💞
Y/n: Thank you maa aur deuta☺
She leaves from her house and gets inside her car, driving fast but keeping her safety in her mind. A couple of moments later, she reached the studio.
Y/n parked her car in the parking lot beside the recording studio and was walking towards the studio which was at a walking distance but that's when someone bumped with her, making her lose her balance.
She closed her eyes tightly so as to maybe feel a little less pain falling and embrace the cold and hard ground but something else instead took place making Y/n utterly surprised.
