It has been a week and the summer training camp has come to an end. During the last practice match of the day, the coaches had prepared a barbeque feast for everyone as a reward for completing their practices.
The other managers and Y/N were busy preparing the vegetables, and made some onigiris and other necessary food to be grilled but that doesn't stop them from being able to enjoy the feast as well.
On the boys side, it seemed like Bokuto had caused a scene where he silently walked up to Kuroo's side, whom about to devour the meat; and he stole them away. Kuroo then grabbed him by the collar, "Hey! Bokuto, you bastard!" he screamed.
Y/N saw everything from the other side and couldn't help but to laugh at them alongside with the other managers when suddenly, Kiyoko started a conversation.
"Y/N-san, you and Kuroo seems to be really close. Are you guys dating?" she asked after watching Kuroo and then move her head to Y/N.
"W-W-What??!!" she exclaimed and almost chocked herself when Kiyoko asked her the question.
The other managers were also curious, causing Y/N to blush even more. She looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment. Kiyoko laughed at Y/N's reaction when Kuroo was mentioned, but deep down, she and the others knew that Y/N and Kuroo had feelings for each other.
Throughout the feast, Y/N and Kuroo exchanged many glances and smiles, both feeling happy to have the opportunity to get to know each other better.
After the feast, everyone cleaned up, packed their things, and said their goodbyes, knowing they might face each other in a real match if they made it to the nationals. The Nekoma team then boarded the bus and quickly dozed off as soon as it started moving. Just like when they first arrived, Y/N and Kuroo ended up sleeping next to each other on the bus. Kenma took advantage of the situation again, snapping several photos of them sleeping together so he can use it to threaten Kuroo.

I then turned off my phone and suddenly recalled what I said to Kenma on that one particular day.

I turned to my side to see that Kuroo has already fallen asleep. I smiled, looking at him and dozed off as well.
