High On | JJK series

Ch 8:- Lunch and.... fun?

You sat in a Cafe with Leah and Yeri. And Jungkook was in a Cafe with Eunwoo and Mingyu. (Cross over talks, be careful while reading this part, Remember they both are in separate places, with their friends)

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?!" Jungkook/ Y/n exclaimed as their friends looked at them blankly.
Y/n:- "I was harrased in the mall and guess what"

Jk:- "She kicked the guy in his balls, poor guy's kids"

Y/n:- "And That Jeon just fucking stared at the whole scene"

Jk:- "Watching her kick made me fear my own future"

Y/n:- " Like I was supposed to be his soon to be bride and he just fucking watched!!"

Leah sighed, "You talk as if you would let him help..." You frowned, "But-" "Tell us honestly Y/n, would you let him be a hero??" "No cause I can fight!" "EXACTLY!!" Leah and Yeri exclaimed as you sighed.

"All the best Jungkook" Mingyu laughed as Eunwoo shook his head. "Im surprised you got a strong girl to marry.." "Hey, it's an arrange marriage!" Mingyu teased as Jungkook glared at Mingyu before sighing, "But... she is interesting... I always find myself lost when I see her..." Mingyu and Eunwoo frowned at his words. Eunwoo shook his head and smiled,

Eunwoo/Yeri:- I have to announce something!!
Jungkook, Mingyu. Leah, Y/n looked at them and frowned.

Yeri:- Do you know Eunwoo??

Eunwoo:- Do you know Yeri??

Y/n:- You mean Jungkook's friend??

Jungkook:- You mean Y/n's Friend??

Eunwoo and Yeri nodded, before they hit the table and stood up and announced,

Eunwoo/Yeri:- WE ARE DATING!!

As they yelled, all 4 gasped and looked beside them. Leah and Y/n noticed Jungkook and Mingyu at the last seat. They were in the same Cafe and talking about each other. Yeri and Eunwoo gasped as Yeri quickly ran and hugged Eunwoo. You and Leah looked at the scene in disgust, so did Mingyu and Jungkook.

"Do they know they are being cringe??" Leah whispered to you as you shrugged and sipped your juice. "Leah!!" Leah looked up to see Mingyu as she smiled, "Heyy there!!" "I didn't know we would meet each other here... with our... friends?" Mingyu Said and looked at You and Jungkook who just looked at Leah and him before looking at each other

"Ohh we came for lunch, My boyfriend is just coming with food-" "Babe..." "Ahh speak of the devil" Leah looked at Sunghoon and smiled as he placed the food down in the table and pecked her forehead before looking at Jungkook and Mingyu, "Ohh hi guys!!" Jungkook smiled at Sunghoon and nodded as Mingyu spoke, "Heyy bro..." "BTW... shall we have lunch together??" Yeri suggested as All were OK with it... except the 2 soon to be married people.

They all sat together, Leah and Sunghoon, Yeri and Eunwoo in front while Mingyu sat in between You and Jungkook. "It feels so wrong to sit here without Kate..." Mingyu pouted. Jungkook elbowed his stomach making him wince in pain. He munched on his kimchi fried and looked around. His eyes shone at the last piece of BBQ chicken. He took his chopsticks and reached for it but before he could take it, another chopsticks held it too.

Jungkook looked at the owner and saw You who looked at him too. You both held the eye contact as silence filled the atmosphere, just you both staring at each other. It felt as if time slowed down as Jungkook looked in your eyes.

"This feels so wrong... to sit in between you both" Mingyu exclaimed bringing both of you back into reality. Jungkook quickly moved back as you took the piece of chicken and munched on it. He then looked in front to see Yeri and Eunwoo be all lovey dovey, feeding each other. He then looked at Leah and Sunghoon who were talking and eating while smiling as Sunghoon whispered something to Leah making her giggle.

He wanted all this, but with his girl. A girl on whom he had his eyes on. Jungkook closed his eyes and banged the table and got up, startling everyone. You looked at him, your mouth still filled with the chicken. He looked at you, "I wanna talk... follow me..." He said before walking away. You gulped the chicken down and watched him walk away.

You looked at Leah and Yeri who nodded. You sighed and got up before walking to him. You reached where he was standing and tilted your head as you looked at him, "What is it Jeon-"

"I love someone else!!"
