Y/N L/N had never really had a grasp on time. All he knew was that when he waited for something, it seemed like forever, and when he didn't wait, the day passed by in less than a second.
But he started to grasp time after what he called the DeLorean Dilemma.

"Hey, Doc?" Y/N, who was 17 at the time, called as he opened the door to his friend's garage/living quarters that rested in the Burger King parking lot. The way Y/N had met Dr. Emmett Brown, or "Doc" as Y/N and Jenna liked to call him, was rather strange. In the summer of 1982, he tried "borrowing" something of Doc's but got caught. In order to not get arrested, he asked Doc if he could help with his experiments, and the two eventually became friends. In 1984, Y/N's best friend, Jenna Ortega, had followed him and decided to help the boys as well.
Along one wall of the garage were tons of clocks, all ticking as they read 7:53. Down in a corner of the room was Doc's bed, which had pictures of the world's four greatest minds that would watch over him as he slept; Thomas Edison, Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, and Isaac Newton. Hanging next to the portraits was a bulletin board with newspaper cut-outs titled, "Brown Estate Sold to Developers" or "Brown Mansion Destroyed."
The smell of burnt toast and canned dog food intoxicated the cramped living arrangement. The TV gave off the voice of a reporter going over a new story.
"In other news," the woman on the screen said, "officials at the Pacific Nuclear research facility have denied the rumor that a case of missing plutonium was in fact stolen from their vault two weeks ago. A Libyan terrorist group had claimed responsibility for the alleged theft. However, officials now attribute the discrepancy..."
Shrugging, Y/N placed the spare key under the mat as he entered the tight area, holding his skateboard in one hand and his backpack in the other.
Y/N was a relatively good-looking boy with H/C hair that was alway in his signature style and E/C eyes that were hidden behind shades. He wore a denim jacket over a flannel shirt, which was complimented with a plain red tee-shirt underneath. Light blue jeans were held up by suspenders and white Nikes covered his feet.
"Doc?" Y/N called again. "Hello. Anybody home? Einstein, come here, boy." Y/N whistled for Doc's dog when the toxic fumes of smoke and old dog food burned his nostrils.
"Oh, jeez," he said, disgusted. "That is disgusting.
"Where the hell is everybody?" Y/N asked as he set his backpack and skateboard down and kicked it towards the bed, where it hit a case of plutonium.
Smirking, Y/N walked up to the giant amplifier Doc had been working on, inserted the key, and turned it on. He then turned the autotransformer all the way up to 135, causing the primary power to inch up to 120.
Y/N then turned the primary driver up to 100, followed by overdrive at max power. The autotransformer went all the way up to 150. The teenager then inserted the end of a chord, that was connected to a yellow guitar, into the amp. The humming of the amp grew very loud as he turned the dial on the instrument all the way up.
Removing the pick from his teeth, Y/N faced the amp and strummed an A chord. The sound was so powerful, it blasted Y/N all the way back into the opposite wall, causing a shelf to almost fall on top of him.
Shocked, Y/N removed his shades to look at the destroyed amplifier with a single thought on his mind.
"Whoa. Rock 'n' roll."
