"Look Bonnie I know this guys not the model citizen, ok, Bonnie, but I gotta get back, not just for Elena but for my brother" Damon stated.

"I'm sorry, Damon" Bonnie apologized.

"Sorry doesn't work for me" Kai walk up to Bonnie.

Kai reached his arm out to grab Bonnie but instead Damon grabbed Kai's arm and vamp sped him to the wall and but his arm around Kai's neck.

"Hey. We might be having a bit of a disagreement, but don't lay a hand on either of them" Damon threatened.

Damon lets Kai go and Bonnie went outside Damon went to get a drink and wait for it to be time to go, while Julia stayed with Kai.
"Well that was something" julia went to sit on the couch, "So if the family thing was true does that also mean you can suck magic out of supernaturals?"

"You wanna find out?" Kai walked over to her.

"No. But I'm guessing it's true" julia replied. Then she had a thought... "did you go through my diary kai?" his silence was a good enough answer for her. "seriously kai!" "what! I was bored and your my favorite out of the three of you guys, what can i say!" he says with a smirk. Julia cant help but think hes a better person than he lets others see, it makes her wanna get to know him more.

"You didn't say anything when Bonnie was talking about me killing my siblings. Why?" Kai added pulling me from my thoughts.

"Wasn't my business and I have strikes with Bonnie, plus you were nice to me at first." julia replied.
"Anyways we should get going" julia continued, while standing up

They met at the door an hour later, the four of them ready to get home. Kai moved ahead with the Ascendant, and the other three walked a bit aways behind him, with Bonnie and Julia  not looking at each other.

"You two are boring," said Damon, picking up two large branches and poking them.

"And you're more peppy than you've been the entire four months we've been here," said Julia , crossing her arms.

"Because I have a hot date with my girl tonight," Damon said, smirking to himself.

Bonnie rolled her eyes. "Yeah, assuming Kai's telling the truth."

Julia glared at her. "He is. "

"I'm thinking dinner and a movie," Damon continued, not listening to them. "You know what? Screw the dinner and a movie. Skip straight to the good part."

Bonnie slapped the branch away from him. "Yeah, assuming I can do the spell, which we won't know... until we see it."
Damon stopped. "Look, before, you were like 'yay, let's go home! And now you're like 'boo, grr, bleh' as if the key to getting out isn't making heart eyes at your best friend. Of course he's gonna help us, he's trying to get in good with Julia ."

"I want to go home more than anything." Bonnie clarified. "But Kai's a sociopath, who's to say he won't screw you and I over and just take Julia with him?"

"He won't do that!" i snapped. "Stop being so negative, Bonnie, if he really does give a shit about me, he knows that abandoning my friends in a prison world isn't going to earn him any points."

"Exactly!" Damon chimed in. "If Kai gets in the way of us getting home, then I'll kill him myself."

At that moment, Kai came out from the trees ahead of them. "I heard my name," he said brightly. "All good I hope." He winked at Julia, then held up the Ascendant, and an axe. "The eclipse will happen directly overhead." He looked up, at the sky before facing them once more. "In perfect alignment with the Gemini constellation." He handed the axe to Damon. "You need to dig into the tunnels below us."
Why?" demanded Bonnie.
