"Y/n?" My eyes opened slowly and I sat up, I saw Lola standing in front of me. "You okay?" She questioned.

I nodded, "Yeah, just haven't gotten enough sleep lately." I replied as I stood up and grabbed my books.

A few days have passed by and I haven't seen Gwen in school. I wondered where she was.

Nights passed and I would sit in the spot where she found me, and she was nowhere to be seen.

I looked tired, my hair looked slightly nappy, and my eyes were baggy.

"Hey, later today if you're not busy, I was wondering if you'd go out with someone?" She asked.

I raised an eyebrow, "Do I know them?" "Very well actually." She showed me the picture of their band, then pointed at the lead guitarist.

"They've been eyeing you for a minute." "Oh- well.. I didn't know." "So would you want to go out with them?"

I thought about it.

Not like I have feelings for them.

But at the same time I do need to get closer to Gwen.

I don't know if this is the way.

Lola looked at me with hope, I could care less about what her or her friends wanted, but something in me made me say "Yeah I'm down." Which cause Lola to squeal, "Okay! I'll text you the details!"

And with that she left me alone in the library.

"So why are you going out with this chick again?" Nari said as she ate her ramen.

"At the moment I wanted to hit myself against the wall for agreeing. But now that I think more and more on it, I think you should trust my next move, you'll get your big break with it." I said as I put on concealer on my eye bags.

"Where are you guys meeting up?" Nari asked before she began drinking the soup.

"To some old abandoned theatre, she thinks I like the same music as her. But I don't even have time to listen to music." "Wow, how Y/n of you." She joked as she stood up to clean her dishes.

"Speaking of which, have you seen Gwen?" I asked.

She chuckled, "Worried about her already?" "God no. But she is part of my mission." "We'll get this." She grabbed her tablet and began tapping on it, a hologram popped up and it showed a portal opening with Gwen as spider-woman going in.

"What is she doing?.." I questioned.

"Shes going to another world. And you know what's helping her go from world to world? That bracelet." Nari said before turning off the hologram.

"She always wears it, even at school, it's just disguised. If we can get some creature to attack you again-" "that's too obvious it wouldn't work. And even if we have it, she'd chase us down for it." I said.

Nari and I looked at each other thinking.

"I'll come up with something, right now I have a date to get to." I said before spraying my flowery scented perfume grabbing my bag and heading out.
