Two weeks passed by, a lot has happened since then.
Felicia and I have gone out on dates almost everyday, I have gotten to know her very well. She keeps pushing to know more about me but I just feed her lies.
It was just another Thursday, and I was taking things out of my locker.
Only three lockers away from mine was Gwen's locker, she was grabbing her books as well. She hasn't spoken to me at all, I thought about my next move when suddenly someone put their hands in my eyes. "Guess who."
"Well I only know three people in this school, so I'm guessing Felicia."
Felicia uncovered my eyes and stood next to the locker where I could see Gwen. "You look beautiful." "Thank you." I said with a smile. "I have thought about our conversation that we had many weeks ago.. and guess what." I smiled, i already knew what she was going to say.
"Hope you're not busy on Saturday." "I'll clear my schedule." I said with a grin.
She kissed my forehead before walking away, that was a first.
And just then I saw Gwen looking at me with a glare.
"Got a problem blondie?" I asked.
She was taken aback, I've never spoken her with any tone, at least not as Gwen. "Why would I have a problem?" She asked as she shut her locker. I chuckled and shut my locker as well, then walking closer to her, "Do you want Felicia?" I questioned, "If I did that'd be none of your business. But I don't. I just feel like you might be with her for the wrong reasons. Felicia is a great person." "Aw." I said with a little pout as I moved a strand of her hair behind her ear, "If you want her... well, that sucks, she is never going to see you the way she sees me. You're Gwen, the drummer, the girl who's always late and is always dissapointing the group, hell, I bet you won't even show up on Saturday to help the band. Unlike you, I want the best for them. And guess what Gwen Stacy." I said.
"I am the best for Felicia." I said.
"You're a horrible person Y/n." I shrugged and crossed my arms, "Maybe." I stated as I looked directly at her blue eyes.
She stayed there looking at my eyes as if trying to intimidate me, but I didn't budge. "You know when I first met you I thought you were actually strange, had a bad feeling, but now.." oh crap.
This wasn't supposed to be part of the plan. But yet, this could work.
"Now?" I asked.
She shook her head before walking getting ready to walk away from me.
"You don't know a single thing about me." "Maybe you're right, but I do know one thing. You weren't meant to be with anyone."
My eyes widened of shock when she said that.
For some reason my heart broke hearing that, well, hearing her say that hurt. I don't know why, I knew it was true, I always told myself that. Hearing it though hurt.
"Look, I'm sorry I went overboard." I shook my head, "You're not wrong though."
She stared at me while pulling me in for a hug. She embraced my body with hers, "Gwen it's fine." I muttered, she pulled away and held my hands, "I was wrong to say that I'm sorry. I guess I'm jealous."
Raising my eyebrow from curiosity, I asked, "Jealous?"
"Yeah, well you're so captivating, beautiful, very intriguing it's annoying.." I pressed my lips together not knowing what to say. "Seeing you around my friends is a threat, I guess you could say you are everything I'm not." She said as she felt my hands, hers were very soft, considering she does a lot.
"Gwen- are you serious?" "Oh come on, the minute I barged in the room, I knew they loved you more than they love me. And I've known them for years."
"It took time for me to make friends, I lost one a few years ago, and it felt like you were going to take them away. I know I'm not the easiest person to be around. You just- you're so easy to be around sometimes- well most of the time, it shouldn't be enjoyable but-" she stopped talking and looked at my reaction.
My eyes softened.
"Sorry." She said when she noticed my look.
"Anyone who has you in their life is lucky enough to know you and to have you." I said as I walked up to her and kissed her cheek softly.
"Besides, if they weren't meant to be a part of your life, they will reap what they sow."
"You know I feel bad for saying you shouldn't be with anyone and you're being awfully kind to me after I treat you like you don't exist." She said.
"Well, glad to know now that you know I exist. Next time say hi to me when you glance at me in class." I said with a wink.
"Don't forget what I said though, Gwen." I said before turning around and going to class.
