"uuggh," Y/n groans, getting up noticing only empty messes of beds around him. "God, how late did I sleep in?" he questioned himself. Walking around the room, picking up his bag groggily before walking towards the lobby.

At the doorway of the lobby

"Jeez broseph, did a zombie bite you in the lab yesterday?" Kenji jokes. Darius, Sammy, Yasmina and Ben all turn to the door. Y/n stands there, eyes closed and leaning against the door. "Mmm-Mhm..." Y/n answers in his sleepy state.

He then proceeded to walk to Ben's side of the room with a sluggishness as everyone watched in disbelief until he laid down with a comical thud. Kenji raises an eyebrow amusedly. Just as he was about to speak, the door from the opposite side of the room opens violently. Brooklyn, the cause of the loud noise, turns everyone's heads. Even with the sun barreling towards him, Y/n cracks an eye open to look.

"Brooklyn..." Yasmina draw out. "What's new on the internet superstar?" Yasmina asks sarcastically. "I... Wouldn't...Know... Because when I went to get my phone from its charger, it wasn't there! Someone stole my phone!" she announced.

Yasmina squints her eyes. "Brooklyn, who hasn't had your phone?" This elects a slight chuckle from everyone and a satisfied hum from Y/n. A chorus of excuses and reasons begin to assault Y/n ears causing him to sit up and pinch the bridge of his nose with a groan. "I... haven't seen it either," Sammy says nervously. "It's fine guys. With kayak day being delayed, we have plenty of time to look for the phone," Darius explained.

"Ohh well that's just great," Brooklyn says dismissively. Brooklyn narrows her eyes. "But I think I know exactly where to look, and that whoever has it is trying to hide something that's on it," she says aggressively, walking towards Sammy. "What do you think Sammy?" Brooklyn singles out. Y/n narrows his eyes at Brooklyn with her insinuations. At the same time, Yasmina quickly goes to her defense.

"What's your deal?" Yasmina asks defensively. Quickly getting up, she gets in Brooklyn's face. "Sammy said she didn't touch it. You ever think you might have just lost the stupid thing!" Brooklyn's eyes go half lidded as she looks at Yasmina unfazed. "Thats fine. We can just check her bags and test that theory out," Brooklyn decides.

"Brooklyn, Yasmina, can you guys just--" Y/n speaks up. "What about you Y/n? You're the only who hasn't said anything?" Brooklyn says, switching targets. Y/n's face falls flat. "Yeah, because what do I--" gesturing to himself. "--need with your phone." The air sits tight for a moment before Y/n gives her a definitive answer. "No, I haven't seen it. I also don't appreciate you antagonizing my friend," Y/n finishes, getting a smile from Sammy and approving nod from Yasmina.

Having said his piece, Y/n retires from the conversation to make small talk with Ben instead of adding more fuel to the fire. "Anything you want to share with the class...?" Y/n asks Ben in a joking manner. The boy shakes his head aggressively eliciting a laugh from Y/n.

Seeing the conversation might escalate, Darius takes his opportunity to break them up. "Look guys--guys, we can't be getting this upset over phones. We have a magnificent opportunity here. This is Jurassic World, it's--it's--" Before he can finish, a dinosaur roar captures everyone's attention.

Y/n snaps his head in the direction of the noise. "What was that?" Brooklyn wonders out loud for the group. "Um, a T. rex?" Kenji states confusedly. "Mm-mm. I don't think so," Darius responds. "I don't like that sound," Y/n thought to himself with unease.

Yasmina sets everything she had down and made a b-line straight for the balcony. Everyone but Ben soon followed suit to try and get a good look wherever they could, at what was going on. "These trees make it impossible to see anything," Yasmina says. "They could be moving a new dinosaur to an enclosure! I bet we could see it from the observation tower," Darius replies.
