My supposed enemy | d1 Adam banks

Game day

It was 9:30 and the game wasn't until 3
I went downstairs and found a note from my mom "hi honey I got called in early to work today, I promise I will try to make your hockey game today love you -mom" I made myself breakfast I knew how to cook the basics I turned the tv on so it wasn't quite I made my toast with butter waffles and bacon I took it to the living and watched tv for a while
It was 11 when I decided to pack my hockey gear in case I was running late I went back downstairs debating on what I should do next

I got dressed and went out for a walk in the neighborhood when my eyes landed on a certain someone...Adam ,I tried to walk away in the other direction but he saw me and called me over to him I continued walking and I heard running behind me and finally said "hi Adam, is there something you wanted?" I said while turning around "I just want to say I'm sorry for what Mcgrill said." He said "oh....thats fine ,I have to get going now but I'll see you later at the game" I said "wait let's walk together I want to talk to you for a while" Adam said "oh okay" i said i felt myself blushing a little I turned around and started walking
After a while we were walking back and i asked him something "why do you hang out with them?" I said he knew what I was talking about but he didn't answer I started walking away from him but I felt his eyes on me "wait don't go come on I'll tell you I swear"
"Really?"
"Yes really come on I just want to be your friend."
"Okay so why then?"
"I just want to fit in and not be bullied by them"
"So you bully other people?"
"Kinda"
I did a small fake giggle "Adam honey you can't do that"
"I know that y/n"
"Look I'll be your friend if you stop bullying people"
"Deal" he said I felt his eyes on me again I turned around catching him he turned away fast

I went back home and it was 2:20 I got my things and walked to the game place it was a little far but it was fine
I saw Connie and some guys from the team "do you think we were gonna win?" Peter asked and we all laughed cause we wouldn't
we all walked in together and we started to get dressed and wait for our coach we could all tell he didn't want to be there I mean who could blame him

Our game started against the hawks we were already losing Bombay was yell we were hurt I didn't see my mom in the stands she never really showed up so I didn't really mind but I wouldn't take my eyes off of Adam,
I went out on the ice I decided to play with Adam a little he had the puck so I skated in front of him "hey Adam" I said in a flirty way I gave him a wink and a smile he looked at me and I stole the puck from him I gave it to whoever was open and they missed when that shot "awe come on!" I yelled
Goldberg skated away from the goal and they scored "this embarrassing" Connie said "we need a new goalie" Averman said
after all three periods that hawks won and we lost obviously, "you guys stink I tell you to put your heads up you put them down I told you to go faster  you go slower why the hell won't you just listen to me!"
"Wow some coach we got"
I said
we went to the locker room change out of our gear that's when Connie asked if I wanted to have a sleepover at her house I said sure and told her I had to call my mom "hey mom I was wondering if I could have a sleepover at Connie's house?" I said "of course you can just be safe okay." My mom said "okay bye mom love you." I hung up and walked with Connie to her house

Me and Connie were getting ready for bed but decided to play truth or dare
"Okay truth or dare" Connie said "ummm dare" I said " I dare you to call your crush" she said I looked at her with a shocked look and told her " uhh I don't have one." But Connie didn't believe me and still forced me to do it
The phone rang "hello?" A boy said "um hey Adam look-" I was cut off with Connie taking the phone out of my hand and hanging it up "YOU LIKE ADAM?????" Connie said
I was silent "uh yeah.....don't tell anyone or I'll kill you I mean it" I said Connie just laughed and agreed
After a while we went to bed

Adam's pov
I was in the kitchen when I heard the phone ring "hello?"I said "um hey adam look-"it was y/n voice the phone hung up before she could finish ,I went to my room thinking about what she have wanted,I always thought she was pretty and nice I felt bad about Mcgrill said but I couldn't say anything because I was scared of what would have happened all that think of her made me tired so I went to bed
