My supposed enemy | d1 Adam banks

Our first win/tie

It was your game against the cardinals I was a little excited bc we actually had uniforms
I went outside cause it was beautiful out and it felt nice I took a book and snacks with me I was wearing a cropped tank top with shorts and my socks with slippers
I went on my hammock and sat down after a while of reading I heard somebody outside I looked over and saw Adam I pretended not to see him so he could walk to me "hey y/l/n come over here!!!"
"No it's okay I don't feel like walking!!!"
I look over and saw him walking to me
"Hey banks" I said
"What you doing" he said "just reading why you wanna go somewhere" I said with a smile "yeah sure if it's with you" he said at my eyes I face drop and I started blushing "uhhh...yeah um ima just go charge but we need to be back before my game." I said
"Alright I'll wait for you here" he said while sitting down on the couch that on the porch

"Okay let's go" I said I grabbed his hand and held it "so where are we going?" Adam said "uhhh OOoo the mall"I said
We were half way there "awww I forgot my money.." I said with a frown I was lying I just wanted to see what Adam would say "oh that's okay I'll pay for you" he said while smiling " aw thanks banksy but I was just kidding I have my money." I told him while giggling "oh okay but I can still pay for you?!"
"No Adam that's not right"
"Come on please I get an allowance for no reason, I have a lot of money that I don't use just let me spend it on you"
I look up at him 'wow he basically wants to spoil me' "mmm if you insist but I like the expensive stuff tho"
"That's fine with me" he smiling and looking at me "wow look at me about to get spoiled by Adam banks" he laughed at what I said we arrived at the mall and walked in
I went to go look at the shoes and I found these shoes that I always wanted
I went up to a worker "hey can I get these in a size (your shoe size) please and thank you"
"Of course." The lady said with a smile
She bought me my shoes and I went to checkout ,she told me the total before I could get my money out Adam payed "Adam! What are you doing!" The lady gave me the bag and we walked out of the line "what you said I could buy you stuff." He said "yeah but not shoes those are expensive?!" He looked at me and looked back down
"You know what" I pulled him over to the boys shoes " pick out a pair of shoes." I said
"No."
"Adam hurry up we're not leaving until you do"
He walked over to the shoes "hey lets get match ones" he said holding up the shoes that I got I walked over to him and smiled "sure banksy"
We got back in line and I payed
We walked around for a bit before we left

We got to our neighborhood "I had fun at the mall today" I said "me too y/l/n" we both smiled at each other "well I'll see later banks" I walked into my house and got my things ready

We were in the locker room getting ready for warm ups it was Fulton first game so coach wanted him to practice his shots "okay Fulton shoot !!"
He made some in but some people got scared when it went out of the rink but nobody could look away even the other team got scared

It was 2-0
We didn't think we were gonna win but guy scored a point for us we were happy people from the stands were yelling our first goal I went out on the ice I got pushed to the ground the referee stopped me from hitting the guy "man let go of me!" I skated away I saw Jesse with the puck the other team was after him we tried to get them away from him he got to the net we stopped the last period was all most  over "shoot Jesse!!!!"we all yelled he made it in the time ran out it was a tie we all celebrated in the locker room "Connie!!!" We hugged each other after we got done we changed and headed out it was dark so I was walking fast but I got stopped it was Adam "how come I always get stopped by you" I asked
"Uhhh idk I want to see your game"
"By yourself?"
"Yeah, it was funny seeing you mad"
"Oh you saw that"
"Yeah, is your mom gonna pick you up?"
"No she isn't, is your dad gonna pick you up?"
"No I didn't tell him that I came, come on I'll walk you home"
We talked about random things while walking I felt safe
"Adam"
"Yeah"
"Your a really great friend I'm glad your not like the rest of your team"
He just looks at me with a smile "well banks I have to go but I'll see you tomorrow" I gave him a little peck on the cheek while hugging him
I walked inside I couldn't stop smiling I can't believe I did that

I got ready for bed when I remembered I had school tomorrow and I didn't do the homework I looked over at Adam's house and saw his room light on 'don't ask how I know' I grab the phone and called him "hello" I love hearing his voice
"Adam hey!!! Umm sooo I didn't do my science homework..."
"Yeahhh.....oh you want the answers"
"Yes please" I said politely
"I don't know y/n what in it for me?"
"Uhhhhh..... I'll go on another date with you!"
"Deal. I'll go the the worksheet"
'Dang that was easy'
He came back and told me every single answer
"Oh my gosh thank you Adam I'm so lucky to have you I could give you a kiss!." I realized what I said my eyes went big
"Wait that's not what I meant l-" he cut me off "it's fine y/n just remember you promised me that date okay?"
"Okay Adam well thanks I'll see you tomorrow good night banksy" I hung up the phone 'OH MY GOSH WHY DID I SAY THAT!!'!!!'
I put my homework up and went to bed thinking about what had happened
