Were the ducks?

I woke to the sound of my alarm I tried to turn it off but it wasn't there I looked up and down and saw it on the floor great now I have to get up I got ready for school and walked out I sat down on the sidewalk then I remembered the snacks that I had and ate one for breakfast I heard the bus coming and I got up 'adam isn't here' I thought,I heard somebody run behind I looked and saw Adam "hey you made it" I said with a smile "yeah I woke up late."
"Mmm whatever let's go" I pulled him to our seats

We got to school and of course he walked me to class "bye banksy I'll see you later"
"Wait do you think that we can sit together at lunch?"
"Uhh sure just us two orrr..."
"Yeah just us two"
"Wow a second date already" I said while laughing and walking away in to class

At lunch
I sat at a round table waiting for Adam I told the team I want to sit down by myself to focus on my homework "hey"
"Hey banksy so you wanna help me with me homework"I said

The teams pov
"Hey look at that....y/n with the enemy" Jesse said
"Jesse just leave her alone okay"Connie said
Jesse walked over to them
"Are you serious why are you with him"
They quickly turned around,her face dropped "Jesse calm down we're just friends okay he's not as bad as you think okay" y/n said
"Whatever your just like the rest of them!" Jesse said

Y/n pov
"Adam im sorry for Jesse"
"It's fine I would be mad too...hey uh I gotta go but I'll see you later"
'Great'
School end and we had practice again coach told us that we were being sponsored by his boss ducksworth we got in a van that fit all of us obviously Jesse was ignoring me
We ran in to Hans store and basically destroyed everything
Charlie dropped all the hockey sticks and left it there I grab all the basics for hockey I wanted to talk to Adam I asked Han if I could use his phone he told me to go to the back
I called Adam nobody answered Icalled again still nothing I decided to leave it and to go back out
We headed out to the ice rink we saw a girl and a boy they were ice skaters coach convinced them to join the team he held up an egg "soft hands Karl stand up" he passed it softly and Karp stopped it and it splattered everywhere we practiced passing it and accepting it it was time for Goldbergs practice he had to learn to not be scared of the puck after a while he wasn't scared "YALL READY,YALL TIRED,YALL HUNGRY LETS GOOOO!!" Bombay said we all said yeah and walked to the changing room "hey guys wheres Goldberg" I said "Ooooo we forgot him I'll go get him" Averman said we waited for him to get changed so Gordon's driver can drive us all home
I got home and heard some play in front of there garage I looked over and saw Adam I dropped my stuff on my front porch and I walked over to Adam
"Hey" I said he turned around
"Hey"
"I'm sorry again it's my fault I should've told them the truth." I said
"Look I think we should stop hanging out y/n so could you stop talking to me"
I looked at him for a second and walked away if that's what he wants I'll stop talking to him
I went home thankfully tomorrow was Saturday and coach wanted us to go two the mall with our skates so I got ready and Sunday was our game against the cardinals when am I gonna get a break but finally got ready for bed

BEEP BEEP BEEP
I woke up and rolled off of the bed I packed all of my stuff of my mother isn't here but it's fine I like waking up and it being quiet and by myself I ate breakfast and walked to Connie's house so I could walk with her to the mall but somebody stopped me I knew it was Adam I acted like I didn't here him and walk away

Adam's pov
What did I do I told the only girl that I actually liked to go away what is wrong with me she walked away like it was nothing I slammed my stick on the ground after she walked in her home I was mad at myself "hey Adam" dad said I ignored him and slammed my door I need to make this right I need to get her back I went to bed

I woke up to my dad getting ready for work so I got up as well I went outside to go on a walk I saw her my y/n I saw my chance to talk to her "wait y/n I'm sorry look I just thought that if we stopped being friends that Jesse would leave you alone" she pretended not to hear and just walked away I'll find a way to talk to her

Y/n's pov
I arrived to Connie's house
"Y/n I tried to stop Jesse yesterday.."
"It's fine Connie,Adam ended things I guess so let's move on and focus on the game tomorrow"
"What do you mean he ended things"
"He said that he wanted to stop being friends and to stop talking to him and he tried to talk to me wanting me to forgive him"
"Did you?"
"No I ignored him"
"But you like him, guys were good to each other?!"
"Come on Connie you can't be serious"
"Look I think you should just talk about it I mean you can't ignore him forever but come on let's go couch wants us at the mall a little early "
We arrived and saw every body standing outside with a boy I recognized him it was Fulton he helped me with the hawks "okay guys we need to help Fulton on how to skate so let's go!" Coach said
We skated down a hallway connecting the malls of course Fulton messed up and went down the stairs we quickly tired to catch up to him Fulton told us how he accidentally pushed a lady in the fountain
we to the locker room and sat down waiting for Gordon to come in from getting something from the car it was a box he opened it up and pulled out our team jerseys

"Man who came up with that" Peter said
"Remember we're being sponsored okay" couch said
"By who Donald and daisy" averman said we laughed
Coach went on saying how it was a great name
We all went home from practice I got in the shower so I didn't have to be all sweaty all day
I wait for mom to come home so we could go out to eat at a restaurant mom always wanted me to have everything so I dressed a little fancier than I usually do she got home and got ready
"So honey I know I haven't been around a lot so what's going on in your life right now I want to know everything" mom said
I could always talk to her about everything even boys so I told her about Adam "well it's been okay I mean I like this boy who lives in our neighborhood but he's like an enemy cause on the other team but we've been hanging out a lot and one of my teammates saw and he told me that he wanted to stop being friends and he tried to apologize but I ignored him so" I said
"Well if I were you I would talk to him and ask him why he said that" mom said "yeah I i guess your right that's what everybody says"
The food came out and we ate
After we left we saw Adam wait at the porch "great now I have to talk to him" I said I got and sat next to Adam "look just let me explain I only said that stuff because I don't want anything to happen between you and your friends because of me" i pulled him up and gave him a hug, he immediately hugged me back "I'm sorry for not letting you explain earlier I guess I was just mad"I said "it's fine I should go but you look pretty tho...bye"he said with a smile
Adam thinks I look pretty wow I walked inside and I couldn't stop laughing
