As the plane touched down, I felt a knot of anxiety tighten in my stomach. I gripped the armrest, my pulse quickening with every thud of the landing gear. The moment I stepped off the jet, a black SUV with tinted windows caught my eye.

Walter was leaning against it.
My mother's most trusted bodyguard for as long as I could remember.

Years ago, my mother found Walter wandering the streets alone, with no family to call his own. She took him in, and since then, we've been his only family.
To me, he was more than just a protector; he was the father figure I never had.
His dedication to my mother was unmatched, and now, that dedication extended to me.

He opened the door for me with a small, respectful nod "Welcome back" he said, with a smile that always made me feel safe.
As we drove towards the mansion. Walter's eyes never stopped scanning our surroundings, always alert for any potential threats.

"Everything's been taken care of" he reassured me , glancing my way for a brief moment.
"No suspicious activity, all the paperwork is in order. You're safe"

I couldn't help but smile, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over me. Walter was the sweetest man I knew, a gentle giant whose loyalty knew no bounds.
As we drove home, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of comfort.
A new beginning awaited, and I was ready

I looked out the window as the car slowed down and entered a secret path through a wooded lane. I used to feel a chill driving through here, but as I got older, I realized how secure it was. Nobody could ever enter unnoticeable.

We arrived at the gates, and Walter opened them with a remote that used fingerprints

We arrived at the gates, and Walter opened them with a remote that used fingerprints.
The gates swung open, and we parked in front of the house.

I stepped out of the car and glanced around, taking in the familiar sights.
"You know where to find me if you ever need any help, Miss" his tone professional but warm.

"Walter, you know what I said about calling me that" I replied to him with a sweet smile.

He chuckled and nodding "I'll keep that in mind, enjoy your time"
